On the White House website, our elected officials are asking Americans to spy on and inform on their fellow citizens if they hear them going against PresO.  How pathetic this country has become, that our elected officials are so paranoid that we might express our own thoughts; that they want the thought police to inform on us so that we can be ‘corrected’. rr

Here’s the info from them… direct from the WH website…

If you see anybody publicly opposing President Obama’s plan to implement a government-centric overhaul of the health care system, the White House wants you to report that person (or persons) ASAP.

From the White House website:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

I reported my 85-year old Republican mother to flag@whitehouse.gov and asked them to “straighten her out”. She said she was against euthanasia for the elderly in lieu of costly medical treatment.

I just sent the following email via flag@whitehouse.gov

Is this just the beginnings of a police state in which neighbors are encouraged to report on one another?
    Your slip is showing!

I just wrote a post on my blog about this and I must admit I’m a little nervous about being reported. That should never be in this country. It’s sad.
