Remington Arms: “Hello Huntsville!”

Posted February 16th, 2014 by Iron Mike

Inflicting the woes and anguish of unintended consequences on NY’s gun-grabbing Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Hello Alabama
Cuomo recently told the world that “…conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault weapons…have no place in New York!”   Remington is taking him at his word,…

…they are NOT expanding facilities in their 198-year-old Ilona, NY factory.

They’re moving new manufacturing to Huntsville, Alabama, – where on Monday Governor Bob Bentley [who is also a doctor] – will welcome the new jobs and the new industry.

In your FACE Cuomo!!   Just how long do you think Remington will leave the rest of those jobs in Ilona?   How long should people work making weapons that you won’t allow them to own?

We visited Huntsville just last September.  We found the place bustling, energized, and welcoming!  We put it on the list of likely retirement towns.

It was just last September that Kahr Arms decided they’re had enough of Cuomo and his MoonBat gun-grabbers.  They’re moving from Pearl River to Pike County, PA.

Personally, I’m waiting for Colt to announce their departure from Hartford, CT – thanks to the mirror-image laws recently passed in Connecticut.  Just a matter of time….

NOTE: Job-friendly / gun-friendly Governor….

2000 good-paying jobs

UPDATE:   New Year’s Eve 2016    Look at the Huntsville factory from the inside – fully automated – very few employees…. and spotless!

Until unions and Democrat-run state governments wake up,  – there will be many more factories moving south!

Libtards: Wonderful for job creation in CONSERVATIVE, LOW TAX, LOW REGULATION, RIGHT-TO-WORK STATES!

Only makes sense to move to states who are Conservative.
Who still cling to their guns and religion.
Who believe in God, Family, the Constitution & revere our Military men & woman.

Welcome to the Red States Remington!

Huntsville, my old stomping ground, the home of many friends and bitter clingers who cling to their bibles, their guns and their money along with their fishing gear, golf clubs and bass boats. This has always been an area of economic opportunity, with NASA, the Space Museum, Redstone Arsenal with all of the supporting associated supporting industries, such as Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, etc etc. Also lower taxes no gun grabbing governor and a great family environment where you can purchase twice the house for half the money. Governor Cuomo loss is Alabama’s gain.

I lived in Huntsville for over 8 years. What a wonderful place to raise a family! Low pollution, love of God and Country, and beautiful scenery. It’s a great place to hunt and fish and a very low tolerance for stupidity. Congratulations Remington, this was an excellent move for your employees and the great state of Alabama!
