Another Federal Land Grab

Posted May 15th, 2014 by Iron Mike

This time the excuse is an ‘endangered mouse’…?Federal Land Grab
It’s a double-team effort by the National Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management – and they’re after another rancher – Kit Laney. They’re going to ‘save’ the New Mexico Jumping Mouse? Hardly!

The mouse is really called the Meadow Mouse – it’s NOT endangered!

Jumping Mouse NOT Endangered

Kit’s cattle graze parts of the Lincoln National Forest – with full permission. Grazing helps keep down the risk of forest fires.

Ranchland BLM wants

Suddenly, – under the Obama Administration, – the Federal Government needs this land cleared of Kit’s cattle – WHY?

Lincoln National Forest, NM

Please don’t insult our intelligence and say it’s about a non-endangered mouse!

ATTENTION OBAMACRATS: Don’t smirk!   Sooner or later these big-government know-it-alls will be coming after your summer home, – your boat, – your pension plan [to share it with those less fortunate…], – and your 401K [to share it with those less fortunate…].

Both Alamagordo and Las Cruces are just to the East of the White Sands Proving Grounds and the Trinity Site where the first A Bomb was tested. This is a vast area of government owned land, much of if a desert bounded on the North by high desert with litte vegetation. The question is why do they need more land in this area which almost abuts the city of El Paso and the Mexican border?

What is it that they are planning and that they need so much secrecy?
