What Would Ronald Reagan Do?

Posted July 18th, 2014 by Iron Mike

As our community organizer fake pResident flusters about the shoot-down of Malaysian Airlines MH17,…I’m thinking of how Ronald Reagan would be acting…What would Ronald Reagan do
He wouldn’t be talking – he’d be acting!  He’d waste no time squabbling over who gets to look at the crash site or gets possession of the Black Boxes.

First, he would confirm where the guilty missile battery is

– not giving a damn if it was Russians or “Russian-speaking Ukrainian Separatists” sitting at the controls.

Then he’d send in B-52s with cruise missiles to take out everything within a half-mile of those launchers and radars….

Then would follow the B2s – to carpet bomb about 2 square miles around the site – with the specific intent of killing every man, woman, child and dog.

When dealing with stupid people,  sometimes you have to send a direct and very blunt message.

Sometimes the only way to persuade people – is to kill them.

Sound a little extreme? Really??

OK, do you have ANY idea how many anti-aircraft missiles are loose across North Africa and the Middle East – due to the FAILURE of the inept Obama Cartel to plan for the fall of Gaddafi – and the immediate capture of his weapons cache?

jihaddi with SA7

EACH of those missiles can bring down an airliner. Do you think this ~ might ~ be the time to issue a lesson in deterrence?

Ronald Reagan would leave his vacation and head for Washington, D.C. to tackle the problem. He certainly would not go to a fund raiser.

Any bets that 0 will have a golf date this week?

Ronald Reagan would not make a lame speech totally devoid of emotion and outrage. He would order the NTSB, who by treaty, can inspect the downed Boeing 777. He would not say mother may I. The SA 11 is a lethal missile with a Pk of .9-.92 and a kill range of 72,000 ft. The Manpad system pictured above weight about 40 lbs, is an infrared heat seeker with a range of about 10km. They are proliferated all over the world especially the MiddleEast, North Africa and SouthWest Asia. It is only a matter of time before one of these Manpads takes down a passenger aircraft anywhere in the world, even in the USA.

The two video clips show the difference between a leader and a pretender. Reagan’s address was rock solid. Obama’s was an embarrassment.

I’d agree with you but Reagan sat back during the 1983 Beirut Barracks bombing and said it was a “despicable act” but would not alter U.S. – Lebanon relations. He just got a tour of the site afterwards.

Quite frankly I don’t think this tragic incident should cause the U.S. to send any forces over. We have no business fighting in Ukraine’s civil war.
