The Ignorance Of The Grievance Industry

Posted June 10th, 2020 by Iron Mike

Lost in the current rioting is that Blacks are here in America due to a Dutch ship needing repairs.  Slavery came as an accident, – originally a way of sentencing a criminal for an offense.   But then as now,  – bad ideas often become the norm.

It is unlikely that Nancy Pelosi and her posse of congressional retards ever heard of the Ashanti Empire.  She probably can’t locate it on a map,  – or explain how they enriched themselves for centuries thanks to Triangle Trade.

So she wouldn’t have known as she wrapped herself in a Kente Cloth – that it is the symbol of the ancient Ashanti royalty,  – the rulers of West Africa’s most prominent slave-trading empire.

Yes Nancy,  almost all the black slaves sold to the New World from West Africa – came through the Ashanti Empire.  You just glorified them.  And displayed your ignorance.

In your zeal to appropriate the BLM culture, – you bought into the abject ignorance of many American Blacks – who since their cultural awakening in the 1977 TV Series “Roots” – wanted to believe that their ancestors had been part of ancient and powerful African Empires…. So they grasped at straws…

The colorful Kente scarves of the slave trading Ashanti Royalty seemed “African enough” for American Blacks seeking a symbol of their own African roots.  How sadly ironic….

HISTORICAL NOTE:  Far more ironic and ten times more tragic and evil is the dark history of the East African slave trade to the Orient.  Research it on your own;  be prepared to be revolted.

CONFEDERATE STATUES and MONUMENTS:

If you’ve been thinking that BLM is just a protest group or a Civil Rights Movement,  – you’re very naïve…

Like the Black Panthers which proceeded them in the 1960s – it is a fledgling forerunner of a movement that envisions the descendants of the slaves taking over the land of the slave masters,  – and ruling them – with a vengeance.  It is definitely NOT about ‘equality’ or ‘opportunity’.

To gain a following across all sectors of Black America – they need a series of small but noteworthy victories.  Electing Obama was a bust;  – he was so conspicuously inept and corrupt, and by 2016 – thoroughly detestable.

So today they’re looking for smaller, easier victories.  Painting streets,  defunding police departments, and tearing down Confederate statues.

White politicians going along with them are TOTALLY IGNORANT of our most painful American History, – the Reconstruction era….

Not only had the South lost the Civil War (many there never understood how it actually started),  – but they had been bled almost dry by the casualties.  Sherman’s march to Atlanta,  then to the sea tore the soul out of the Old South.

Then came the utter ruthless humiliation of the Reconstruction,  with Yankee carpetbaggers strutting about and union troops enforcing unconstitutional edicts.

It took almost two generations before the resentments and hatreds began to fade,  and calmer heads realized our nation needed to heal,  and come together.

The South needed heroes – needed leaders from their past they could look to as examples of honorable men who had fought a good fight, – albeit for the wrong cause.

The monuments and statues that were erected in the period of 1880 – 1930 did not honor or enshrine slavery,  – they honored courage and sacrifice – and leadership.

As usual,  radicals are short-sighted.

Should BLM and the Democrat Progressives managed to tear down every statue,  blast apart every monument,  – and reprint every history book,  – even ban the movie “Gone With the Wind”….

…Black Americans will only have their history of EBT Welfare Ghettos (the Democrat’s Voter Plantations),  drug addiction,  trips to Planned Parenthood,  and burning police cars to tell their grandchildren about.

Nobody in America is proud of our History of Slavery , – but it is an integral part of our History,  – and we should be teaching it,  not erasing it.

They also do not know that the first black “slaves” sold here were treated as involuntary indentured servants. Seven years’ service, then they were free to go. Many were given clothes, or tools for their trade, or even land, as a parting gift.

Then a slave owner went to COLONIAL court (this was in the late 1600s), suing to KEEP his prized black worker for life. (The man had left and gone to work – for pay – for another man. Guess he wanted a higher wage than the first man/owner was willing to pay.) He managed to convince the British judge to permit slavery for life (absolutely heinous in and of itself – but slavery was LEGAL in EVERY country in the world at that time). Later acts of the (colonial) Virginia House of Burgesses expanded that decision.

That first slave OWNER? Owned both black and white slaves. And was himself a BLACK man. Anthony Johnson – go look it up for yourself if you don’t believe me.

Mike-great history lesson! Thank you. Gives me the ammo I need to debate the Lib-Turds, snowflakes and other pukes here at work and elsewhere, especially the part about the south needing heroes that they could look up to during reconstruction and that the southern memorials were to honor and memorialize men of courage, sacrifice and leadership; NOT SLAVERY! I’ve always used the argument that we should not erase our history as a reason not to tear down these monuments which is valid but not as good.

STUBBY-That’s an interesting nugget about Anthony Johnson, thank you too.

Also, at the beginning of the 1st American Civil War, there were more than 100 BLACK SLAVE OWNERS IN AMERICA WHO WERE AGAINST THE EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION!!!

BLM-NO OTHER COUNTRY FOUGHT SUCH A DEADLY, DESTRUCTIVE WAR TO END SLAVERY AND FREE SLAVES, AND IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT HERE THEN TRY MOVING TO LIBERIA, THE COUNTRY IN AFRICA FOUNDED BY FORMER SLAVES AND SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT. THINK ABOUT THAT BEFORE YOU DEMAND WHITES KNEEL BEFORE YOU AND BEG FORGIVENESS!!! IF YOU HAD ANY DECENCY AT ALL YOU’D BE EMBARRASSED AND SHAMED BY YOUR OWN ACTIONS.
