The Alabama Sleaze Campaign Worked

Posted December 12th, 2017 by Iron Mike

America be WARNED!   The Mid-Term Elections of 2018 are going to be awful!

Alabama election map below the fold….

A sad day for America when Gloria Allred can turn an election by trotting out some middle-age women with forged documents and teary eyes…

Sure doesn’t say much about the intelligence of Democrat voters….

At the outset, with the narrow Republican Senate margin, I considered it a REALLY DUMB move for Trump to nominate Sessions to be Attorney General.

Moore turned out to be a TERRIBLE candidate.

The upshot is that we lost a Senate seat for awhile–this is a Special Election and Jones won’t beat a SANE, Conservative Republican in the next regular election–and we are stuck with a useless PUSSY as Attorney General who retains ALL the Obama holdovers in key DOJ and FBI positions.

Sad day for Alabama and the Nation. The precedent is set; attack with 40 year old, unsubstantiated stories about a month before the election, no time to verify, add a few more allegations over the next couple of weeks. No time to verify or prove any of them and you can stop any ‘enemy’ of your party. I agree with Jim G that Moore was not a great campaigner and said some dumb things when the spotlight was on him. BUT his role as Chief Justice of AL and his efforts in support of the Ten Commandments over the last 15 years was completely ignored. MSM did not like his position on same sex marriage, not PC.

The media with their non-stop bashing won this election. They have the wind behind them to go at this for every single Republican in the 2018 election.

It is time for the White House to demand using whatever means are necessary to find out who is Congress has been charged with harassment and to use it for 2018.

Iron Mike: I’d love to see a side-by-side comparison of the Alabama county map… Nov 8, 2016 presidential election and Dec 12, 2017 US Senate special election.

I agree with Jim Gettens and Panther.

Kojack, Jim Gettens and Panther 6: only if we LET THEM win.

Our fallback position has always been: “Oh well, at least we’re the good guys.” Our motto for national, state and local elections has always been: “We lose with honor.”

NO MORE. See my remarks under “Examining the Alabama Senate Vote” (Dec 15).
