Spinning Jared Loughner

Posted January 10th, 2011 by Iron Mike

There are two (2) groups of liberal to ultra-liberal lobbyists doing their best to spin the life and actions of Jared Loughner, the would-be assassin of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

The political Left Wing are trying to cast blame or guilt-by-association on Republicans, TEA Parties, talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, and their favorite nemesis – Sarah Palin.

The Left Wing Press and Media are desperate to make a cause-and-effect story.  They are trying to connect dots which do not connect.   But they’ll keep at it until either overwhelming evidence refutes them, or a clever defense lawyer tells Loughner to go ahead and say “Yes, the TEA Party influenced me, and buying the gun was easy”.

The political left wing simply believe they have the best answers for mankind.  They want to rule the country – turn it into a structured socialist utopia, and then rule the world.  Rules, fair play, the Constitution are meaningless to them.  Their ruthlessness knows no bounds.  As Rahm Emanuel famously said – “Never let a good crisis go to waste”.

The “press” is more arrogant than that.  They believe that by manipulating, filtering, and shading the news they can control events and outcomes.  They have taken the term “Fourth Estate” to heart in a way that was never intended.  And ever since Woodward and Bernstein brought down a sitting Republican president, they have been itching to bring down another.

So the “press” will try to paint Loughner in sympathetic colors, maybe even as a victim.  They will try to pin ‘responsibility’ on Republicans and the TEA Parties, and of course ON GUNS! They bemoan the ‘level of anger”,  the rancor, the violent images, the uncivil discourse.

Both groups quickly vilified Sarah Palin for putting cross hairs on congressional districts.

Now, by blaming her, they’re essentially making her a target.  And they know it

  *  The left wants to run your life and control the world.

  *  The Press wants to sell papers and influence outcomes.

Know the agenda of the speakers and writers.  It’s not always obvious.

Oh, and violent images?  Here are a few.

Guns don’t kill people. People kill people. Guns don’t have a brain or soul. Guns are inanimate objects.

The left tried to discredit Gen. Petraeus.

When Mr Obama tried to act tough he used the expression “to ride shotgun.” Remember that one?

I purposely listened to the Political Left channel on XM satellite radio today. These people are as wacko as the AZ shooter. First they were saying the shooter was a victim since he couldn’t get any mental help since Reagan turned all the crazy people out of mental institutions. Then society caused it by allowing large cap magazines to be sold when the ban expired. Then, it was Sarah Palin’s fault. Then, talk radio. Then, the Tea Party. Then, Republicans. In fact, it seemed everyone was at fault except the shooter. He was a victim! How pathetic these people are. ff

The appointed defense attorney, Judy Clark of San Diego, who defended the Unibomber among other despicable characters will undoubtedly use the insanity defense. She has already received unimagined assistance from “good” Sheriff Dupchik who stated in a news conference on Saturday that Loughner was mentally ill without the benefit of any medical or psychiatric examination. Megyn Kelly of FNC questioned Dupchik Sunday on his inflamatory statements and he admitted that he had no evidence and they were only his opinion. I am sure that all of Dupchik’s bumblings will be used by Counselor Clark. When will they place a “gag order” on this “law enforcement” embarrassment? We can only pray the the US Attorney prosecution team and the jury will do the right thing and dispatch Loughner to either the hereafter or the supermax in Colorado for life without parole.

Apologies to the sheriff whose name should have spelled “Dupnik”.

This morning while getting dressed to go to work (I am still fortunate enough to be among the 82% employed), I happened to catch B. HUSSEIN Obama on Fox News, and he said; “We Are Going To Get To The Bottom Of This””Those who have been injured, we are rooting for them.” ROOTING? ROOTING??? This empty soul-less caricaiture of a human being can’t even utter the word ‘PRAYING’ in a situation like this! He doesn’t have to believe in Prayer to say it, God knows it wouldn’t be his first hippocritical utterance! I am at a loss for further comment on his behavior. Maybe it’s me…

    Amen, bro.

Thanks for the forum. I didn’t see mention of the L.A. Times first reporting that the shooter was an OEF veteran. To me, that assumption was the first of a cascade of fictions we’ve been fed as facts. Please let this tragedy yield an expose on the pathetic propagandist charade we know as the Lame Stream Media.
As for tighter gun laws (say, like the ones “enforced” in Massachusetts), absent a record, applicants can write ANYTHING on their license form. How many miscreants are screened out with a license application?
As for Loughner and “why wasn’t anything done”? “Who dropped the ball?” Blame the school, blame the parents, blame absence of mental health services? Let’s recognize how powerfully patient protection laws restrict intrusion on rights. Just try to impose services on an unwilling, impaired family member. You’ll see how the dearth of public mental health services combines with restriction on their authority combine to equal zero intervention. Long story short, **it happens.
