General Mladic Captured – At Last!

General Mladic salutes Serbian Troops

 The lasting lesson of Srebrenica
    –  don’t trust your life
        to the United Nations
    – or to the Dutch Army.

Declared a ‘UN safe area‘ in 1995, and ‘secured’ by 400 Dutch UN troops [which included openly gay troops], the town of Srebrenica was surrounded by and entered by the most hardened and brutal elements of the Serbian army under General Ratko Mladic.

The Dutch troops packed up and departed, knowing full well what was to befall the Muslim refugees packed into the town.

Outside of town giant mass graves were being hurriedly dug.

The Muslim women and girls were stuffed into buses and trucks and driven away.

The men and boys – all 8,000 of them – were taken to the mass graves and shot – some of course buried while still alive.

Anybody remember who was US President at the time?

Do you think any of those 8,000 men and boys knew anything about our 2nd Amendment?  Do you understand our 2nd Amendment?

After 16 years as a fugitive – Mladic has been captured. He will be sent to the Hague for trial. He’ll get life ~ maybe. The Dutch don’t have the stomach for capital punishment either.

Ratko Mladic probably learned this little ‘trick’ from Stalin. Joseph Stalin marched the Polish officers to their grave site in the katyn Woods and then shot them during WWII.

Not to take away the from the tragedy but one must remember that this took place 50 years after WWII. During that time the Bosnians had 1,000 muslim nazis [the 13th Waffen Mountain division organized by Mohammad Amin al-Husayni] – killing Serbs the same way. It strikes me as one tribe killing another tribe. Terrible!

I hope that bloodshed like this never happens again.
