Dale Peterson Thumps Roy Barnes

It can be tough to run for governor.  It can get a lot tougher when you’ve made enemies across state lines.  This is the kind of political ad you don’t see much of.  Enjoy this one!

We’ve featured Dale Peterson before.  He ran for Agriculture Commissioner in Alabama, and his ads featuring his no-nonsense attitude and his Winchester 30-30 became an internet hit.  He did lose a 3-way race in the June primary, but he hasn’t lost his political voice.

Roy Barnes is a former Governor in Georgia [Jan 99 – Jan 2003] and led the effort to remove the Confederate Flag image from the Georgia State flag.  That may have cost him reelection.  So now he’s looking for that second term.

The Republican in the race former Democrat Congressman Nathan Deal from the 9th District – which is the Northern part of Georgia hugging the Tennessee border.  He turned Republican back in ’95.  The current Governor Sonny Perdue is a Republican from Perry, GA [my old town] and is term limited.

Go Nathan!   Dale, keep up the fire!
