Bill de Blasio Faces A Busy Summer

Posted April 15th, 2015 by Iron Mike

His words set the stupid people in motion. They’ve waited out the winter.  Now they’ll take center stage until the cold weather returns.

Tourists will be well-advised to visit somewhere else, – we suggest the Adirondacks or the Grand Canyon.

New York’s Finest will be very busy, between crowd control, crime fighting, and anti-terrorism work.

New Yorkers are basically stupid people – even the wealthy ones.  Just when Rudy Giuliani had crime at it’s lowest level in a century – they elected Michael Bloomberg to follow him.  Bloomberg launched a war on soda pop.

THEN,  the stupid people elected the anti-police activist and lifetime communist de Blasio.

So when career criminal Eric Garner resisted arrest on Staten Island – and died of a heart attack while in a headlock, de Blasio sided with the crooks and called it a ‘chokehold‘ – and started a series of riots.

De Blasio is in a mixed-race marriage – has two mixed-race kids, – so it is really hard to understand how he or his kids benefit from him stirring up the race pot.  But stir he did.

Then two cops Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu – were executed sitting in their patrol car. It should have been a wake-up call for the mayor…

Ramos and Liu

The more chaos that happens in NY City streets this spring and summer – the more likely that ISIS wannabes will be drawn to Gotham to act out their evil dreams – in search of their 72 virgins.

You gotta wonder,…virgins…in NY City…?

Look again at the top photo – the “Free Mumia” sign.  Do you suppose that sign-holder has even the vaguest clue who Wesley Cook and Daniel Faulkner were?

Do you suppose de Blasio will ever have the courage to step before a microphone and explain to the stupid people exactly why Mumia is lucky to be in prison?

Don’t hold your breath….

But brace for a summer filled with stupid people in the streets of small towns and big cities, – and the continued narrative about racist white cops killing innocent young Black men.

Do you expect Obama or Holder to offer any words or reason or calm? Or do high-level planners in the Democratic Party see this false anger playing to their benefit come November 2016…?

I can remember the words of Bobby Kennedy running for president back in 1968 – as he fanned the racial flames just days before he was assassinated,  playing the race card and white guilt.   He spoke many times about “…Black boys dying in Vietnam while White boys were in college…”

Democrats have never abandoned that ploy,  because it has kept them in office – despite doing nothing to improve the lives of Blacks.

Biil DiB is such a bloody idiot it is hard to believe if the good people of NY were paying attention that he has not been impeached. It may well be a long hot summer.

BDB was a campaign manager for Hillary. She lost. He has not committed to her, this time, so far. He doesn’t strike me as too smart, hence all the mistakes with the NYPD.

The rent-a-mobs will be active through the 2016 election.

I agree a great deal with your comment about how democrats have, historically, used black Americans as something of a talking point without doing too much to push for anything regarding equality.

I have to say, though, that I don’t understand the way you reduce the left to, as you call, ‘stupid people.’ I actually find this a little endemic in rightist commentary, even among rightists who have some solid analytical perspective.

I will say that protest, for the most part, does little other than reinforce the authority of the system. That being said, can you elaborate on how/why these ‘rent-a-mobs’ can be reduced, simply, to ‘stupidity?’

Look up the history of the term “Useful Idiots” – as used by Lenin and then Stalin.

Both men used the term to refer to mobs rioting in the streets – creating focus points and distractions; – and for self-important do-gooders who would come to Russia in the 20s and 30s, – and then publicly extol the wonders of the new Communist Society…

To those meanings BOTH de Blasio AND the ‘Black Lives Matter’ fools are the stupid people – each being used and manipulated – and EACH accomplishing nothing but a DISTRACTION… BOTH are aiding the destruction of our Republic.

A very interesting point (I did look it up, thanks for that). My reading of it, though, is that the term can be misused in a rather coercive way. And perhaps this is where we stand in our conversation.

By placing groups, such as those protesting police violence or whatever in NY, in the category of ‘Useful Idiots’ there is the chance that we are, through semantics, deflecting from the importance of the point being made.

I am not saying that this category of ‘useful idiot’ does not exist (in my experience, there are many). I am only wondering if, by immediately relying on the cynical perspective that all leftist protest is simply the work of political puppet masters (which it, in many ways, is), then we reduce the point nominally being made to a non-issue.

If we’re going to do this, we’ve got to then evaluate all of the technologies of communication, and the monopoly of knowledge held by the state, and place other avenues of dissent or opinion into the same category. Including right-of-center action.

Considering the left and the right are not, actually, arguing different standpoints in this political system, but are different shades of the same color, then we must see it (commentary, be it protest or rhetoric) for what it is: an aspect of propaganda and a reinforcing aspect of state control. Like this blog (and mine). We are both ‘Useful Idiots.’ Wouldn’t you agree?

Moreover, and this is less philosophical, I don’t understand how protest in a democracy can destroy the republic.
