When will this man be jailed? I mean the one on the right in the picture.

I see a few issues associated with the release of Sgt. Bergdahl:

    1. Was the cost too high? Five high-level terrorists who will probably do harm to America, to Americans, or to our allies is an incredibly high price to pay. Do you really want these guys running around free?

    2. What was the status of Sgt. Bergdahl? POW? Deserter? Something else? Although there is significant evidence he deserted, hopefully the true and entire story will be revealed. I’m reserving judgement.

    3. What is our obligation to a deserter? When someone deserts I think they are on their own and we have no obligation to rescue them or trade for their release.

    4. Should we negotiate with terrorists? Historically the USA has said no, but Obama thinks otherwise. One can certainly argue that this will encourage terrorists to capture other Americans.

    5. Did Obama break the law by not consulting with Congress? He’s broken, bent or ignored so many laws that it’s hard to tell.

    6. What do we do to protect someone’s “kid”. We are all someone’s “kid”, but when one puts on a uniform one becomes a Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine and is no longer a child. That’s something Obama needs to learn.

Personally I consider many members of Congress, this President, and his administration traitors.

Being curious, I looked up the definition of traitor: “a person who betrays another, a cause, or any trust.” …

Can we start with all those who never read the bills, – or pass them for personal gain, – who face their public, mislead and lie?

” I didn’t know” doesn’t cut it, they are supposed to know. Think how long this list could be. Personally I wouldn’t have a friend or colleague who acts as most of these folks do; – so why as taxpayers should we have to pay them?

In REAL LIFE they would have been shown the door a long time ago.

The only way Bergdahl might be cut some slack is if he had mental health issues. But, you can’t fix stupid.

Obama’s position will be to either say no one knows what happened, or that he suffered enough no matter what happened. Clinton will say who cares? To liberals it’s all spin, and our military are just a prop for photo ops.

Now we just need someone to “Eat the Rat”, G. Gordon Libby won’t do it again, and this was too small an operation for Ollie North with no drugs or arms to trade…maybe bring back GW Bush he just sent cash to Iran….or Donald Rumsfeld he only traded Chemical Weapons to Iraq to use on Iran under G.H.W. Gush, I don’t know why we were surprised when S.H. used them on the Kurdish farmers.
