Toys-Я-Us Bankrupt; Bezos & Chinese Win!

Posted September 19th, 2017 by Iron Mike

It took decades,  but the combination of cheap Chinese-made toys (essentially slave labor) and internet sales (Amazon) has driven another US Business into bankruptcy.
If you’re one of those 60,000+ employees facing sudden unemployment,  – how do you feel about “the Global Economy” this morning…?

And in the process we also paid for the massive Chi-Com military modernization.

Brick and mortar retail establishments of all kinds are getting croaked by online sales. Only the ones that are innovative and stay a step ahead will survive.

I don’t think Chinese manufacturing had much to do with this. Toys-R-Us sells toys regardless of where they’re manufactured.

Amazon however is an insatiable beast that devours brick and mortar companies. There was a line in the movie “The Demolition Man” that went “now all restaurants are Taco Bell”. It’s not inconceivable that all stores will become Amazon. Bezos is becoming an all-powerful megalomaniac who rivals the worst of the James Bond villains.

If folks buy a toy ON LINE from Amazon – then the Chinese get PAID, Bezos gets PAID, UPS gets PAID, – and Toys-Я-Us goes bankrupt!

There is another view of Amazon from a book publishing perspective. It used to be that the Big Five New York publishing cartel controlled what we are allowed to read. No longer. The liberal gatekeepers of American literature and culture have fallen to Amazon E-books and print-on-demand technology.

Now any author can self-publish or publish through small publishers. There is no liberal filter shutting conservative authors out like Hollywood shuts out conservative actors. Liberals will attempt to legislate against Amazon, or complain about how unfair Amazon is, but don’t be fooled. Liberal control freaks hate innovation that wrests control of our culture from their evil grips.
