We can only guess what Tuesday night’s gala State Dinner under the Tacky Tent cost us. I’m guessing an easy $1 Million. It was very expensive for sure, – and meant to showcase our Royal Couple, – not to honor the Prime Minister of India.  After all, everything is all about the Obamas.

Fraud Meets Fraud

Funny how things work out.  A couple of outright frauds are unexpectedly upstaged by a couple of outright frauds.

Michaele and Tareq Salahi – looking every inch like a Washington insider power couple managed to crash the party.  Then they hurried home to Hume, Va to post their proof on Facebook.  By Wednesday morning the press had a story they could actually investigate.  Who were these people?  What is their background?  How did they slip in past the Secret Service and get so close to the Village Idiot and Obama?  Was there ever any danger? [Gee, if they’d been secret Ninjas – Pelosi would be President now.]

Oh GOD – why wasn’t the press asking questions like these 16 months ago?  Why are they still focused on the wrong frauds??!?

Per FoxNEWS, the White House has ordered a “full review” of the incident to find out “how the Secret Service allowed such a security breach”.  Right, blame the Secret Service!  The Secret Service does NOT have the job of verifying the guest list.  They did their job, – the Salahis were armed only with a camera.

Let me go out on a limb here – and connect a few troubling little dots.  Remember back during the frenzy of the 2008 campaign – the rumors that Princess Michelle would become enraged at the sight of uniformed police officers assigned to protect her, – and insist they be posted out of her sight?  Just rumors?  Never investigated or reported by the fawning press.  Remember a recent story that a Naval Academy honor guard was altered to appear more diverse?  Barely mentioned.  How about the troubled career of Major Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter?

We know the guest list was carefully calculated with as many Indian-Americans and people “of color” as possible.  Has the Secret Service been ordered to make their White House detail look more diverse?  If so, were relative rookies pressed into service that night?  Has style replaced substance?  We know that “political correctness” has cost us thirteen dead soldiers at Fort Hood.  Where else are we at risk, – the White House?
