GOP goes down in defeat!

Another RINO bites the dust as the Tea Party shows that it hasn’t been dormant, it was just working the opportunities. Yes, the days of the flamboyant Tea Parties are past us as we move into the new era of Tea Party activism. We’ve spent a lot of time learning politics over the past two years. We’ve watched, listened, learned and planned. And today those plans paid off. The Tea Party chalks up a major victory by defeating the old RINO Dick Lugar.

Richard Mourdock soundly trounced Lugar and put him out to think about his loyalties. We sent strong messages in 2010 and the first salvo of 2012 was fired across the bow of the RINO-loving GOP today as Lugar leaves a lifelong career, turning over the reins to a true conservative.

I predict that this is the first in a long line of Tea Party victories this election season. We’re tanned, rested, and ready. Ready to fight for the principles we know are still there in America. The principles that most Americans are awakening to as they see the disarray and discredit Obama has brought to us. True Americans know what our principles are. We know what it takes to make America great again. And, we’re going all the way this time.

I’m sure the GOP doesn’t realize it yet, they probably think that this election was a fluke. That Indianans aren’t like the rest of America. They’re wrong. Dead wrong. And their candidates will go down in flames this season all across America.

Wake up, fellow Tea Partiers. It’s our time again. Let’s take America back and show the world that we can restore our greatness again. rr

A classic example is this recent issue of an all-too-familiar display of RiNO thinking. The Acton RTC has adopted, and posted on their website a remarkably pathetic non-Republican plea to their elected officials.  Get a barf bag and

Claiming to represent “over 1500 registered Republicans [that sure ain’t so] …working to further Republican ideals of liberty and the constitution. ”

Note they spell Constitution with a small ‘c’.  Inexcusable!

Now they want their elected public officials to “block Obamacare funding until any Federal budget increase is accompanied by sufficient spending reductions that will achieve a balanced budget.”

Really?  You can live with a budget INCREASE? 

Just ‘block the funding’ for awhile?  And you call yourselves ‘Republicans’?

In the most polite language I can muster: the ActorRTC wouldn’t make a decent pimple on a REAL Republican’s …rump.  How much wine had you sipped when you sat around and approved this ‘resolution’?  Whose brainstorm was this?!?!

ObamaCare is UNCONSTITUTIONAL, by virtue of common sense and Federal Judges Hudson and Vincent.  What part of ANY ‘Republican’ would want to fund ANY of it under ANY circumstance?  Ever?

We want it REPEALED by Congress, and/or declared Unconstitutional by John Roberts and the Supremes.  It’s not a matter of tweaking or fixing it – or even defunding it.  We want it GONE!

You have just presented the world with prima facie evidence that you are NOT Republicans.  You’re not even good RiNOs.  You’re really just limp-wristed fiscally conservative Democrats.  How come you didn’t print the names of the signers?  No guts? 

You’re sure going to impress Niki, Scotty, and Lurch with a strong forceful position like this – you wimps.

Have you been having massive problems with poisoned food?  Have you been demanding more food safety as a national priority?  Have poor people been flooding hospital ERs with bad cases of food-borne illnesses?

First Brown voted for Kagan, then for the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Bill.  Today he joined the RiNO herd voting for Durbin’s S.510, which can only be described as a draconian socialist bill designed to criminalize your backyard garden,  inject the federal government into every stage of your food chain [pet and animal food too], and raise the price of food at least double current levels.

I was so mad I looked again at Scott’s official website.  I cannot find the word “Republican” there.  I don’t think it’s an oversight.

Now I would expect a flippin’ idiot like John Ketchup Kerry to vote for this bill.  First he’s rich, and second the Heinz Corp can easily add 50¢ to the cost of a bottle ketchup and not bat an eyelash.  Kerry hasn’t bought groceries in 30 years. 

I’m pretty sure Kerry owns Monsanto stock along with his TSA X-Ray Scanner stock.

But Brown?  Brown should know better.  Gee, I wonder if that was his political survey which called last night polling about presidential and senatorial matchups?

My anger at Brown increases with each RiNO vote and each liberal press release he issues.  First he’s proving to be a legislative liteweight, and second he seems to be more concerned with establishing a ‘reach-across-the-aisle’ reputation than he is with representing the folks who stood in the cold to get him elected.

Folks,  I don’t think Scotty’s going to find either ‘religion’ or his Republican core.  I don’t think he ever had one.  It’s pretty clear from both his actions and last night’s poll questions that ~ somebody ~ thinks he might be a presidential contender.  I’m so frustrated that I can actually envision him signing on to be Obama’s 2012 running mate.

Slowly but surely Real Republicans are finding their dignity, expressing their outrage, and cleaning house of liberals, progressives, and RiNOs.  Memo to Scott Brown:  Take heed!  The folks back home know when you’ve screwed them. Watch the video

There were warning signs – even before he was elected, and I wrote about it.  But back then the issue was clear – a choice between a lukewarm Republican or the ethically flawed Obamaphile Martha Coakley – a woman who let a pedophile go free, then let an innocent man rot in prison so she could look “tough on crime”.   Today the truth is becoming clearer and clearer, – this perversely liberal state produces very few constitutionalists, very few Republicans, and just a rare handful of genuine conservatives.  Scott isn’t one of them.

Immediately after Scott’s election I wrote him an open letter in RRB.  If he read it, he’s clearly dismissed it.  He immediately began acting like a celebrity,  while casting a series of votes that have slowly shocked,  saddened, sickened, and now outraged the very people who labored so long and hard in the cold to get him elected.

And he’s been pretty unapologetic about turning his back on his supporters, in particular the TEA Parties who were his chief cheerleaders.  When I spoke to him about this at Devens a month ago he blew me off – “they didn’t read the legislation”, and brushed by me. 

Now he doesn’t return emails or phone calls – even from former leaders of his support.

A week ago he interviewed Socialist Elena Kagan for twenty minutes, and came out all smiles and proclaimed her “a friend of our military”.  WTF?  No real military man – or woman – could make such a statement after 17 years of real military service. 

“A friend”?  Really?  Ms. Kagan had repeatedly demonstrated her single-minded hostility to our military – and with it her indifference to the dangerous missions our troops undertake daily. 

An agenda-driven lesbian herself,  her sole military agenda is to have gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders serving openly, – and probably with special regulations and accommodations.  She is hardly one who understands warfare, military history, defense matters, our enemies, the military, the military ethos, or even cares about the dangers inherent in any weakening of our already stretched-too-thin fighting forces.  Thus Scott’s proclamation was either vote-grabbing political expediency at the expense of our military, – or a demonstration of what a phony “warrior” this JAG officer really is.  Scott, – you should already have announced your intention to filibuster her confirmation.  It’s one of the things we were counting on you for – no more Sotomeyors on the Court.

This week, after pretending to be against it,  Scott pulled a Stupak maneuver – voting for a “Wall Street Reform” bill which excludes the two biggest villains – Fannie and Freddie.  That Countrywide Chris Dodd [should be rotting in federal prison] was pushing that stinking dung pile through the Senate should have been enough warning to make any honest senator steer clear.  This bill allows the Federal Government to take over any financial institution if the SecTreasury feels it ~ might ~ be failing.  What did you get for your vote this time Scott?  An empty promise?

Scott,  a bit of advice:  if you’re going to sell out – do it big, and quick.  Get a ride to Hawaii or Japan on AF One.  Get that country estate in Ireland – like your new buddy Chris Dodd has.  Call up Fred Thompson and see about movie and TV deals.  Write a couple of books.  Feel out Channel 5 for a job in 2013.  Because if you keep this crap up,  your total time in the Senate will be just under three (3) years.  With the Globe already doing stories mocking your new RiNO status – your support base is evaporating.  My gloating BarackObama email came Saturday afternoon – as I was drafting this piece. 

Maybe ~ just maybe ~ you can find some backbone.  We didn’t elect you – we didn’t collect signatures, money, enlist our friends, stand out in howling single-digit winter wind to have you become Chris Dodd’s poster boy buddy.  We don’t want you reaching across that damned aisle.  Frankly each time you do the crack of your ass is showing.

We want you standing up and voting “NO!”  We want you rallying the Republicans and the weaklings.  We want you to filibuster bad legislation and bad nominees.  We want you representing the people who put you there,  not the Washington weasels who are now using flattery to turn you into a liberal pansy.  For Gawd’s sake Scott, reach around your neck and see if you still have a spine.

And do it quick, while you still have friends here.  One more dumb move and your bumper stickers will come peeling off faster than OBummer’s.

Well Americans, that’s a line bound to make indignant anger well up in the necks of many folks I know.  But the more I think about how much we have to do in the next eleven months,  – and how ineptly many of my Elephant friends are going about it, – the more I reach a sad conclusion:  Soros / Pelosi / Reid / Obama didn’t have to be all that clever as they schemed to put their Kenyan-born Manchurian candidate in the White House, bankrupt our economy, devalue our dollar, and lead us into the Third World.

For fifty-plus years now Americans were proud to go vote every two years.  Good patriotic voting Americans – many WWII, Korea, and Vietnam Vets.  And when their candidates lost,  they’d “rally-round” the winner, – because that was “the American Way”.  And they promptly stopped paying attention to politics for another two years.

Thus they didn’t notice the Socialists quietly taking over all the teaching jobs, and then the school administration jobs, and then the school boards.  After all, their kids were only in school for twelve years.  Further concern about schools ended on that final graduation night.  So year-by-year, new teacher by new teacher, principal by principal, the Socialists took control.  Across our land the Press and the MSM became totally populated with Socialist-trained employees.  Result:  when Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. started his campaign,  all the under-40 voters thought it was “racist” just to say his middle name,  - let alone demand to see his credentials.

Late Saturday night [in the dark of night] some 220 members of our House of Representatives deliberately and with malice of forethought – did violate their solemn oaths to our Constitution and voted to pass a bill they fully know is unconstitutional. And today many Americans just shrug their shoulders and accept this as “the way things are”.

Where is the outrage?  Where is the anger?  Why are Minuteman companies not forming on town squares?  Why aren’t cars with Obama stickers burning in the streets?  Are we to meekly accept this new Socialism as “the way things are”?

Oh, please Americans, don’t go burning any Obama-sticker cars, – - Nah, don’t, – really.  But damn-it, aren’t you ANGRY?   Are you still going to support back-stabbing RiNO candidates like Dede Scuzzyrino in the NY 23rd?  Are you going to back limp-wristed wimps who make vague promises about “lower taxes, smarter solutions, and working across the aisle”?  Or will you back those who will promise to defend your Constitutional rights – and show you their own handgun?  Is there any candidate out there who will promise to seal our border?  Will someone please run promising to investigate Barney Frank and John Murtha, and not on “being willing to work with them”!

Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Murtha, and a dozen more ought to be in jail, – not padding their re-election war chests, and in Barney’s case – endorsing a fellow Socialist for our empty Senate seat.  I don’t want these crooks ‘worked with’, – I want them worked on!
