Shhhh! We wouldn’t want to alienate any of our neighborhood Democrats. So if the PotUS delivers a hour-long campaign speech – full of bluster, lies, and threats, – why haven’t we heard rebuttal and indignation from our ‘Republican Leadership’? They’ve had two days!?!

But ‘NEW LEADERSHIP’ in the person of Romney-guy Bob Maginn hasn’t brought the RiNOs out from under their mushrooms and rocks. They’re still keeping a low profile…

They want to go to the quarterly meetings, mingle, drink, and feel important.  Actual party work out on the streets in the hustings would be beneath them. Might soil their expensive shoes.

They’re the ‘1%’ of the 11%,…and they’ll let you know it.

Bob won 51 – 21 – 1.

Perhaps it was never in doubt even when 80+ McNamara supporters showed up to cheer Frank on.  The only votes that counted tonight were the 73 Committee Critters who showed up – and even one of them wasted our time.

You had to be there to hear, see, smell, and feel the difference between the old guard [stuck in the 70s] and the vibrant Republican Party that is just itching to burst forth.  Tonight the old guard defended their turf.

The Maginn hospitality room was well guarded.  The few McNamara supporters who slipped in were treated like intruders.  Hospitality was not the mission, securing votes – by any means was the agenda.  2½ hours later they began to emerge – led by Prom Queen Jody Dow – drink in hand.

Momma Kangas ran the Politboro in a manner that would have made Stalin smile.  A motion to hold a debate was quickly disposed of.

The assembled critters wanted to hear the speeches, vote – and hit the bar.  Screw debate!

McNamara’s speech was sharp – direct – and warmed the hearts of the crowd [you know – that unwanted crowd of hard-working Republican riff-raff].

He received a sincere standing ovation.

By contrast Maginn was underwhelming – in statue,  prose,  and delivery.  He read his speech in a manner befitting Obama, – and like Obama he lost his place and fumbled three times.  I see a teleprompter in the immediate future of the MassGOP.  I don’t see an articulate debater or spokesman.

The voting was tedious and by secret ballot.  You are not to know who your critter voted for.  That’s an inner sanctum secret.  Maginn won 51 – 21 – with one fool too stupid to mark a ballot.

McNamara’s concession speech was short, gracious, and uniting.  Maginn’s acceptance speech had all the excitement and inspiration of a software algorithm.

As a lifelong Republican I truly hopes he succeeds.  As an aging geezer – I think we conservatives need to have a back-up plan.

TRULY ASTOUNDING:  On the very day that former Speaker Sal DiMasi reported to federal prison for accepting B-R-I-B-E-S,  51 elected Republican Committeemen and women voted as our leader a man who gave $2,400.oo to Chuck Schumer – calling it ‘just business’ - and openly offered them BRIBES.

Foolishly, many of them look upon Maginn as a ‘White Knight’ or a ‘Rainmaker’ – someone who will both do the heavy lifting and bring in the BIG $$$ donations.  They seem unconcerned with what kind of message emanates from Merrimac Street.

From my perspective each of those 51 need to be voted out of office next March 6^th – even if you have to mount local write-in campaigns.  They are emblematic of what’s wrong with our party – and why we are just 11%.

Tonight when I’ve hit the ‘Publish’ button, I’ll turn off the computer,  say a prayer for my Party and my Country, and try to ease this night’s memories from my brain.  Tomorrow I’ll try to piss off some Democrats, and I’ll leave the RiNOs to graze contentedly in their pyrrhic victory.

Those of you who know Frank McNamara – please make a point of thanking him for running a clean, honest, and very classy race.  He is one great Republican and a hell of a fine American.

D O N’T  B L O W  I T !

In 7 short days you’ll gather in Newton to elect a new Republican Chairman. If you accept his bribes or bow to the Romney pressure – you’ll vote for Bob Maginn.

If you do you’ll likely help lose the 2012 election for whoever our Republican candidate is.

With that you’ll lose our quasi-Republican senator, and ALL NINE (9) House seats. You’ll send all nine incumbent kleptomaniacs back with added seniority.

Your choices are McNamara or Maginn. The conservative outsider [bound to shake things up] vs. the liberal Romney sidekick – who will funnel all available funds to Romney.

  There are several obvious problems with Maginn:

- his $2,400.oo donation to Chuck Schumer

- his $25,000 radio ad OCPF problem in 2003

- his wife publicly cozying up to Occupy Boston

- his instinct to offer blatant bribes for votes

- his unwillingness to answer blunt questions

- his unwillingness to debate McNamara face-to-face

- his face is now the image of the wealthy Republican fat-cat throwing money around and buying votes

WORSE: Both the press and the bloggers are already making fun of him as “Mitt’s Puppet”. This will NOT help us get our message out, – or bring voters and dollars in.

These are precisely the kinds of things which taint our Republican Brand, – causing unenrolled and independent voters to see us as no better than Democrats – and shun us.

Maginn’s wife Chai Ling is just as lovely a young woman as is Jennifer Nassour.

But the story of her identifying her sympathies with Occupy Boston is JUST AS DAMAGING as when Jennifer surrendered our Republican Principles to Bay Windows.

  Yes, we need a Chairman who can raise money…

But MORE THAN JUST THAT, we need a Chairman who has lived, breathed and can give clear voice to our Republican Message.

Jennifer failed miserably at getting our message out, and the money stopped coming in.

I can ~ almost ~ forgive some of you who voted for her in 2009. She was way cuter than Joe or Mike. But re-electing her after our 2010 disaster was simply reinforcing failure. You blew it – badly!

  So now you get a chance to fix it.

In Frank McNamara you get a lifetime Republican with the battle scars to prove it.

A naval officer he served two tours in the waters off Vietnam.

He was US Attorney for Massachusetts appointed by Ronald Reagan.

He is a pro-2^nd Amendment gun owner.

He lives and breathes wholesome conservative Christian, American, and Republican values.

He and his wife are raising 12 kids!

He is a seasoned trial attorney.

He thinks on his feet AND he has a sense of humor.

There isn’t a Democrat in the Commonwealth who can push him around.

CONSIDER THIS: A KEY reason why the TEA Party grew so fast after Obama was elected is that Conservatives and Constitutional Patriots could not look upon our GOP as anything they wanted to be associated with.

Past MassGOP leaders have given us a well-deserved reputation for backroom deals and inept or nonexistent statewide campaigns.

For all of the so-called ‘expertise’ and ‘experience’ – our GOP has surrendered the State house to the Democrats for over 40 years.

We were not a believable or credible political force. Bluntly put – we were a frail skeleton of a party led by an inexperienced lightweight – a Party Chair Barbie Doll.

We couldn’t recruit members because our message was being deliberately obscured.

We have a LOT of credibility to rebuild in 11 short months. We cannot waste a minute.

And JUST at this CRITICAL MOMENT – Bob Maginn [with Romney’s backing?] openly tries to BUY YOUR VOTES – and with that YOUR HONOR, – for the promise of a website?

THINK ABOUT IT: Was this ‘political expertise’, – arrogance, – or the desperate blunder of a politically insensitive fool?

AND – if it happens that Romney is NOT the GOP Nominee, – will Maginn resign and return to Jenzabar in the middle of the most important election in your lifetime?

Really, aren’t you tired of seeing the empty mills, the empty factories, and the empty storefronts?

The same old – same old – just ain’t gonna cut it this time!

I URGE you to put your personal politics, your egos, and your individual wants aside. For the good of our GOP, for our beleaguered Commonwealth, and our deeply debt-ridden Republic, – vote for Frank McNamara on November 30^th.

Today she is a Boston venture capitalist married to her business partner Bob Maginn.  Bob is a long-term Mitt Romney guy from Bain Capital days. In 1998 he ran a failed race for State Treasurer.  Now Bob want to be the next Chairman of our MassGOP.

So Bob,…what the HELL was your lovely wife doing telling those Soros-Obama foot soldiers in Dewey Square that she would train them to be MORE effective??!?

We’ve had some 30+ years of weak and ineffective leadership of our MassGOP.  The last one was a real duzzy – she negotiated a surrender to Bay Windows.

Then she failed to lead a statewide campaign against the ten incumbent congress critters. They were ALL re-elected, and we even got a tax cheat as our new state auditor.

The one before her sent our money to New Hampshire in a failed try at getting Mitt a 2008 primary win. So Jeff Beatty got pocket change to run against Lurch.

We DON’T NEED another unfocused or distracted leader.

Bob, if after 22 years your wife doesn’t understand the difference between Tiananmen Square and Dewey Square, – you’ve got some home schooling to do.

And if YOU don’t understand that this year we Republicans, – indeed our whole state and our whole nation – cannot be dealing with these kinds of DISTRACTIONS, – then you’re clearly not ready to be our leader.

2012 will see these Occupy maggots doing their best to shut down our cities and our transportation systems – and our city governments.

They will try doing here what their European counterparts have done in England, France, Italy, and Greece. It’s part of Soros’ plan.

If your wife – who is now among ‘the 1%’ – wants to HELP them, she’s going to help paralyze our country during the most important election year of my lifetime.  Are YOU and SHE aware of the danger?

Do you understand how this makes you the WRONG man to lead us?

Oh, and Bob, some folks are asking why you gave money to Chuck Schumer.  Can you explain?

Let’s not repeat the errors which put us in this position.

Chief among the pitfalls to avoid is what I call ‘The Romney Effect’.

Don’t get me wrong,  Mitt is a fine American in many ways – and would be 1000 times better a president than that illegal immigrant we have in the White House today.

He is every bit his father’s son, and well schooled in the fine art of leaving almost nothing to chance.

This was perhaps best demonstrated back in 2002 when he stormed back into Massachusetts from Utah - pushed Jane Swift under the bus – and ran for governor.  Jane never knew what hit her. It was the Romney Effect – the steam roller.

Posturing himself as ‘the guy who knows how to create jobs’ and the ‘Savior of the Winter Olympics’ Mitt ran against our chubby state treasurer Shannon O’Brien – a 4^th generation Beacon Hill Democrat. Mitt won 50%-45%.

But even then many of us knew or sensed that this was mere résumé-building. He’d been looking in the mirror and had bigger ambitions.

He gave us liberal judges, gay marriage, and RomneyCare.  Then he left us.

And he proved those bigger ambitions when he essentially abandoned Massachusetts and his LtGov Kerry Healey in 2006 to start his 2008 presidential campaign.

His departure left the waters so badly roiled that David Axelrod was easily able to get Duh-val Patrick elected Governor in 2006 with the idiotic slogan ‘Together we can!’  I have always maintained this was the test run for the Obama campaign in 2008.

Nationally, 2008 was not Romney’s year. The steam roller was not in place.  Mitt lost the NH primary to McCain 37% – 32%, despite the $1 Million+ MassGOP money shipped north.

That decision by our Romney-Kaufman controlled MassGOP left our 2008 candidates – including Jeff Beatty – high and dry [cashless] while Obama was running as the anti-war Democrat – and sweeping everything in Massachusetts along with him.

So here we are - just 54 weeks away from the most critical election of your lifetime. 

An Obama re-election – coupled with ‘Democrats’ [socialists] retaking control of the House – will mean the end of our Constitutional Republic.

Give Obama the opportunity to replace two or three more judges on the Supreme Court and you can kiss your Bill of Rights goodbye!

 Meanwhile, back here at home:

After our 2008 humiliation,  our career committee critters in the MassGOP elected the worst of three contenders to become our new chair and rebuild our party. They voted for glamour and sex appeal instead of message. We got Party Chair Barbie – who immediately went and delivered an unconditional surrender to the offices of Bay Windows. Then she told conservatives, ‘…if you don’t like it – there’s the door!’

And as we should have expected, despite fielding some outstanding candidates – [and a few mediocre ones] she managed to oversee the re-election of Duh-val Patrick, and the Democratic sweep of ALL the statewide offices and ALL TEN congressional seats.

Despite that abysmal record,  the Romney Effect was in full play this January when Barbie was re-elected over a stalwart conservative challenger – Bill McCarthy.

But out here in the sticks, we hicks were in full rebellion.  Loyalties were being switched to the TEA Parties, and Republican voter enrollment was down.  So were campaign donations.

And when we asked Barbie what her plans were for 2012, – she snapped at us. I guess Mitt’s patience was stretched thin, – she suddenly resigned – giving us the opportunity to replace her with a real Republican.

 DON’T COUNT MITT’S STEAMROLLER OUT!

Across the land Mitt may be meeting his match against Herman Cain, and may be hounded by Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, and Ron Paul, – but Mitt still has lot$ of $$$$ to $teer the destiny of our MassGOP.  AND, he has his faithful man-servant – Ron ‘Chocolate Pants’ Kaufman.

VERY FEW of our 80 elected state committee critters have displayed much solid Republican backbone in recent years.

Having TWICE voted for Barbie, – do we have any expectation that somehow now they can see their way past abortion, gay marriage, legalized drugs, and casinos – and actually vote for a REAL REPUBLICAN – maybe even [shudder] a conservative one?

Remember Mitt wants Massachusetts to look like his success-strewn launching pad next year.  Even with RomneyCare broke, and Deval re-elected in a Republican landslide year – he still wants to claim that this state is HIS success. He wants a Romney-drone as our next party chair.

But despite his money and his steamroller – Mitt has no ‘lock’ on the Republican presidential nomination. Far from it!

Right now frustrated libertarians, conservatives, and isolationists – who would normally be part of our broad voter base – are flocking to Ron Paul or the TEA Parties.

Mitt could be ‘all done’ by April.

But the damage his steamroller does to us next month will last through the 2012 election – and beyond.

What will it take to win a committee Critter’s vote now – conviction, convenience, or Chivas?

In 2009 Barbie won with Chivas, a glimpse of gams, a little wiggle, and a series of behind-the-scenes phone calls from on high. It worked again this year.

Democrats are hoping [they don’t pray] the Romney Effect works again.

They like being governed by moonbats.

Even with the Commonwealth deeply in debt and population fleeing, they still believe there are factories and millionaires still out here waiting to be taxed. The LAST thing they want to see as a resurgent Republican Party here!

We don’t need another pretty face or another Romney Kaufman drone!

Before any real $$$ start coming in our party must have a credible Republican leader and a REAL REPUBLICAN MESSAGE!

I’m waiting to see of our Committee Critters display the courage of the Spartans, – or sell out to the socialists like the Greeks and the French.

Don’t let the door hit ya Barbie!  After 2 years and 8 months in office – you’ve done NOTHING to get us ready for 2012, – any more than you did for last year.  

Under its bylaws the MassGOP must convene and elect a new Chairman within 60 days.  Do you THINK that this time they ~ might ~ pick someone who knows how to develop a campaign theme, a marketing strategy, and a statewide plan?  I’m not betting on it.

Please note that on cue she reminds us that she IS an attorney. You may also note that she fails to directly answer questions [perhaps proving that she's an attorney...].  Given her age, vs the age of many in the room, – I thought she was a bit more than condescending.

I’m still awaiting her answer; – does she have a coordinated statewide campaign plan for 2012?
