An agonizing dilemma faces Democrats as 2012 looms.

With just 14 short months until Election Day, their Messiah looks ever more lame, inept, unfocused, and irrelevant every day.

Democratic insiders and spinmeisters are agonizing over how to portray the tale of this past 2½ years in a way which can recapture the rapture of 2008.

Even they know there is no way the economy can recover in time to heal the wounds of the disaffected. So they essentially have just three (3) unsavory choices; well, maybe four:

With the stock market crippling along day-to-day on false hopes and faint good news, – with unemployment at historic highs [particularly for Black folks], – with business growth and job creation flat, – and with Americans increasingly angry over Obama’s failure to secure the Mexican border, – Obama campaign planner David Axelrod faces a bleak task.

Even the killing of Usama bin Laden backfired. Obama looked like a scared spectator in the Situation Room, and then both he and Biden blabbed the highly classified military secret of which unit killed him. 

Instead of looking like the ‘competent commander’ – he looked like an opportunist political hack – claiming credit of the work and bravery of better men.

His ‘victory lap’ to Fort Campbell and Fort Drum showed clearly that our troops – who once gave him the benefit o f the doubt – now thoroughly loathe him.

The bus tour on the Canadian-build Darth Vadar bus backfired, when it was revealed that Obama didn’t even ride the damned bus – but flew from stop to stop.

Another self-inflicted wound was announcing he had a ‘master plan to create jobs‘ – then going on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard for two weeks – as if jobs could wait.

To make things worse – even Hurricane Irene fizzled on him – making him once again look foolish and irrelevant sitting in FEMA headquarters while Irene dissipated inland.

Now his arrogance and narcissism was on full display as he announced an Address before a Joint Session – without the common courtesy of asking Speaker Boehner.  Rebuffed quickly by the Speaker – he looks like an upstart put in his place by an adult.

With at least a dozen stalwart Republicans [plus Mitt Romney and Ron Paul] – frothing at the bit to take him on next year – how can David Axelrod possibly find enough lipstick to put on this pig? How can they make Obama look like ‘presidential timber’ to their flock of jaded and more skeptical followers?

Can any but the most ardent ideological socialists among the American voting-age population not be worried that a second Obama term will destroy their retirement plans and nest eggs?

Can American Blacks – now suffering 16.7% unemployment [40% for Blacks under age 30] not be wondering if they were led down the garden path by a false messiah?  Are they beginning to see Obama in the same light as Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton – i.e. as a self-promoting charlatan – one unable to deliver jobs or respect?

The Democrat’s Three Unsavory Choices:

THE BLAME GAME: They can claim that Obama is still a truly enlightened 21^st Century economic and political genius; and that his failure to accomplish anything but record unemployment, a stagnant economy, and TEA Party anger – is all the fault of the left-over problems of George Bush, of those mean-spirited Republicans, of the TEA Party, and American racism.

The Backlash:  Blaming others is a well-established diagnostic tip-off to a narcissist, and Americans are becoming increasingly aware that Obama is probably a severe narcissist.

Blaming other – vilifying Republicans and TEA Party folks – branding them ‘racists’ – produces a VERY negative campaign theme sure to turn off the undecided.

Americans have never elected ‘victims’; – they want leaders.

It admits that Obama either wasn’t visionary enough for the job, – or not leader enough to persuade the Republican minority for two full years to underwrite his programs.

It begs the question – ‘Who would be strong enough to continue the Socialist Mission?‘

THE RESET BUTTON:  Democrats can suddenly admit that Obama is not God’s Gift to America’s 21^st Century economic and political problems. They can admit that a background of actual accomplishments and valid credentials DO MATTER, and admit that in November 2008 Obama was seriously short in both categories. They can admit that he was never really up to the job.

Admitting that, – they can then claim that these past years have been Obama’s ‘on-the-job learning laboratory’ – and that NOW he is finally ready to complete his job – if America will just give him four more years.

The Downside: They will have to admit that he wasn’t ready for prime time; that he came onto the world stage unrehearsed, untried, and relying on teleprompters and speechwriters. They would have to admit that he was flawed from the get-go, that his first term has been a series of self-inflicted disasters, and that he is ‘partly responsible’ for the downtrodden economy.

THEN they’d have to somehow make him look as if he just graduated from Charm School – ans was now finally ready to lead us out of despair. They’d have to sell their faithful that even a flawed Obama is better than any Republican – or even Romney or Paul.

I think Axelrod knows Obama well enough by now to know he could NEVER pull off that act, – even if American Democrats were still just as gullible in 2012 as they were in 2008. I think he knows a LOT of Democrats are now unemployed, aware, and angry at being fooled.

THE ONWARD TO SOCIALISM PLOY:  Axelrod, Jarrett, and the Cartel can admit what we’ve known all along – that from the beginning Obama has been an agent of Socialism – dedicated to subverting our Constitution, crippling and destroying our system of Free Market Capitalism, and bringing America down a few notches to the level of a third world nation with minimal economic and military muscle.

This is the bold approach.  It gambles that by 2012 there are enough registered voters [mostly minorities] who have been schooled and rehearsed in ‘entitlement politics’ – i.e. schooled to believe that government exists to ‘take from the rich and provide for the people‘ to overwhelm election officials and voting booths in November 2012. It counts heavily on socialist groups like ACORN, Neighbor-to-Neighbor, MoveON, and union thuggery from outfits like the Teamsters, the teachers, and the SEIU.

This approach also uses the fear and intimidation tactics of street thuggery and cries of ‘racism’.

The Shortfall: With Obama’s approval ratings now at just 40% – and falling fast, there is a strong likelihood that even thuggery will not dissuade voters from recapturing their government next November.

Most of the Republican candidates today are more inspiring that was John McCain, so older Republicans and independents will see a significant difference between the failed Obama and the Republican standard bearer. This time they’ll come out to vote.

Because a lot of old-time Real Democrats still want nothing to do with socialism, selling Obama as ‘Socialism’s Last Best Chance’ will be a turn-off.

THE AXELROD DESPERATION PLAY:   A new quarterback – Hillary!

If by December Axelrod’s secret polling tells him what we suspect it will – that Obama is totally unelectable – he’s got to make a move to save the Great March to Socialism. He’ll draft Hillary, maybe with Lurch [John F*ing Kerry] as her VP – and hope that America’s Democratic women are willing to vote for a known socialist – just to ‘make history by electing America’s first woman president’.

The gamble here is hoping people will forget Whitewater, the Rose Law Firm, TravelGate, the stained black dress, the impeachment, and of course – that Kerry picked Edwards in 2004.

2012 will be a turning point year for America. If either Obama or Hillary is elected, our socialist future is sealed and our Constitution will be retired.

Or, maybe Americans will realize the experiment has been a colossal failure – one which cost many hard-working citizens any chance of the comfortable quiet retirement they’ve worked decades for, and saddled our grandchildren with ungodly amounts of public debt.

Get involved, and get your kids and grandkids involved.

Now, in what has become a clear pattern, Obama has tossed these two allies under the bus.  First it was just annoying and suddenly inconvenient relatives and friends, – like Grandma Dunham, his illegal immigrant Kenyan aunt in Boston, his half-brother living in a shack in Nairobi,  the “Reverend” Wright, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, and lately Czar Van Jones – all jettisoned without a look back or a waive goodbye.

Now for the sake of schmoozing nice with Iranian President Ahmadinejad, and to stop Putin’s constant carping, Obama tosses two allies under the bus.  Oh my, WHAT a surprise!!  Only our moonbats, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and Vladimir Putin are happy about these headlines! Boy, this’ll make countries super eager to sign onto deals and alliances with us! Line forms on the Left! Suckers!  Wanna bet he never told Hillary? Another sucker!!

It is weakness, vacillating, and betrayals like these which history proves inevitably lead to unnecessary wars and the downfall of nations.  America is visibly and measurably weaker and more vulnerable this morning. “Change” you can truly believe in!  Grrr!

   Old Soldier, – Still Good for Parts!

He goes all the way to Cairo to make a speech he was just sure would warm hearts and minds across the entire Islamic world.  It didn’t!  In fact,  it offended many non-Arab Muslims.  And of course Iran’s stubbled shrimp – President Ahmadinejad – promptly demanded an apology for meddling.  No respect there.  He began using deadly force to suppress the election protesters.  People were seen dying on Twitter. 

Then, – to make things worse,  Hillary let it leak [see, the Clintons know how to work the system] that she’s had to spend two whole days telling OBummer to check his sack – to see if he actually had a pair – before our TelePrompter finally summoned the courage to make a real statement.  Too late,  protesters dead in the streets, – crowds gone home, and the story pushed off the front page by Governor Sanford and the Cap-&-Trade bill.

Germany’s Chancellor Merkel comes to town, – but damn, – she’s not buying any of the bullshit either.  Tough to sell smoke and mirrors to people who’ve actually lived through the aftermath of Hitler!

Next the pro-democracy military in Honduras dumps their own home-grown version of OBummer.  They toss President Manuel Zelaya on a one-way flight out of the country and tell him to take up living elsewhere.  Manuel was wanting to overturn Hounduras’ version of the 22^nd Amendment, and become socialist ruler for life.  So while the coup wasn’t the best face of democracy in action,  the military thought it was preferable to a Hugo Chavez version of socialism.  Hillary,  Paneta, and OBummer were all caught off guard.  O-Bummer!

To usher in this weekend,  North Korea’s deranged little Chia-gnome Kim Jong Il just sent OBummer a little help with his National Health Care program.  He just fired off four short-range “suppositories” into the Sea of Japan.  I’m betting he’ll fire a long-range one toward the mid-Pacific – somewhere ~ near ~ Hawaii – sometime on Saturday.  The Chia-Gnome likes his headlines just as much as our own TelePrompter-in-Chief.

So where is a narcissist going to find adoring worshipers in times like these?  Town Hall!!  Let’s hold some “town hall meetings” on National Healthcare,  and refocus the lemming’s attention away from those icky foreign problems or the free economy that my government “bailouts” and takeovers are busy ruining.  Just be sure it’s only fans, worshipers, and sycophants you let in though.  No surprise real questions.  Hug a lady with cancer,  and use her as a prop to sell your snake-oil.  That should buy me some time. 

Probably time to start interviewing for a new Press Secretary.  Helen Thomas is already eating Robert Gibbs’ lunch each morning, – and now it’s on the blog sites.  Is Dan Rather available?  Maybe Connie Chung or Walter Cronkite? 

Flash of BRILLIANCE:  “I know – soon folks will have used up their 26 weeks of unemployment, and they’ll fall off the rolls.   I’ll tell people that I’ve already turned the unemployment picture around.  Brilliant!!  I can sell that, right?   Mirror Mirror – on the wall, – who’s the smoothest liar of them all?

Up until this past weekend, Manuel “Mel” Zelaya liked being El Presidente of Honduras.  He liked it so much he wanted to run for another four-year term – in violation of their constitution.  Rebuffed by both their congress and their supreme court – he was in the process of turning to the people for a “referendum” – a vote which would possibly legitimize his play in the eyes of some.

Mel is a big buddy of Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.  But we have a long-standing military and political relationship with Honduras.   Honduras was a key but quiet ally as we fought our clandestine war backing the Contras against Daniel Ortega and his Sandinistas in Nicaragua.  We have trained many Honduran military leaders in our School of the Americas.  Lefties in this country absolutely hate this school, – believing we teach Latin military officers to become military dictators.   Now, even though we quietly tried to head off the coup,  - we’ll be blamed because our students led it.

Honduras is a small country – roughly the size of Virginia, with just seven million people.  But since it spans the Central American peninsula – it is considered key terrain.  It is key to the drug cartels, who use it as a refueling stopover on flights to the US.  The resulting crime and murder rate has caused Mel to as us to legalize drugs.

So things were tense in Honduras, and the military threw Mel on a plane and told him not to come back for awhile.  Mel, – given the history of Latin and South American coups, – every breath you take is a Gift from God.  Enjoy!

So now steps up to the microphone our very own “smartest woman in the world” – SecState Hillary Clinton, broken elbow in a cast – to try and act as if she actually has a grasp of things.  She could only utter a smoke screen: “The United States has been working with our partners in the (Organization of American States) to fashion a strong consensus condemning the detention and expulsion of President Zelaya, and calling for the full restoration of democratic order in Honduras. Our immediate priority is to restore full democratic and constitutional order in that country.”  Translation:  “I don’t have a clue about what’s going on.  Who is Zelaya and where is Honduras?” 

This was the perfect set-up and opportunity for Obama to drive another nail into her coffin.  Within hours, while meeting with Colombian President Uribe, Obama took the opportunity to cut Hillary’s legs off.   In stark departure from his usual obscurities, he said: “We believe that the coup was not legal and that President Zelaya remains the President of Honduras, the democratically elected president there.”   Translation:  “I outrank Hillary, and only I will issue foreign policy statements.  She’s history!”

       [’Scuse me Mister OBummer: When is a coup EVER “legal”?] 

OBummer doesn’t care anything about Latin America, – just as long as the canal remains open, oil and coffee [and his drug supply] flow, and there are no ugly incidences.  Our Latin American neighbors continue to understand their Third World status, and continue to resent being overlooked and ignored on a daily basis.  So I now expect Hillary to be dispatched on a tour there – to meet as many adorable flower girls as she can.  But when she gets back, – it will be OBummer The MEssiah who conducts the press conferences.   Hillary is rapidly fading into history! 

If it weren’t for the fact that these kinds of inept and indifferent miscalculations end up causing people to die, – this three-ring circus would be funny to watch.

Our Narcissist-in-Chief Barack OBummer tried to cloak himself in the Kennedy Camelot mantle as he came to Washington. The MSM certainly bought into it, – as did the throngs of hopeful black faces on the Mall. Was this real, and how long would it last?

A series of gaffes and blunders quickly revealed to critical observers that this was hardly Jack and Jackie Kennedy. But earlier this year critical observers were marginalized. Only when a slew of OBummer cabinet nominees were revealed to have serious tax and ethics issues did the first layer peel off the onion.

Then came the TRILLION DOLLAR Porkulus Bill with over 9000 earmarks – which not one of the 534 members of Congress read a single provision before hurriedly passing it. Next came OBummer’s World Apology Tour. Even some of his supporters were uncomfortable. Then came the nationalization of the banks and the auto companies, even amid rising unemployment numbers. Then our Narcissist-in-Chief took his Narcissist Princess on a $250K taxpayer-funded date night to NYC. Public grumbling and skeptical comments in the press.

And of course the almost daily foot-in-mouth utterances from the Village Idiot –”Lovable Joe” Biden.

Early in May White House military liaison Louis Caldera was tossed under the bus for authorizing the infamous Ground Zero flyover.

White House Communications Director Ellen Moran had her fill early. She quit in April – even before the 100-day mark. Now Queen Michelle has become impatient with her Hillary-loyalist Chief-of-Serfs Jackie Norris. Norris was fired this week. Of course puppet-master David Axelrod has managed to find posts for both Moran and Norris. Can’t have them stewing at home or going on talk shows and negotiating book deals.

OBummer’s trip to the Middle East and Europe this week revealed who is actually the second most powerful woman in Washington. Long-time OBummer muse Valerie Jarrett was seen everywhere – making the kind of policy statements we might expect from a SecState or a SecDEF. Hillary has been totally neutered!  And Pelosi has been left alone to stew in the juices of her self-made “CIA lied” furor.

So today OBummer visits the beaches where sixty-five years ago the Allies stormed the Atlantic Wall and began the dismantling of Hitler’s National Socialist empire. How totally ironic – this usurper who fancies himself as the future World Socialist Emperor is paying false homage to the demise of Nazi Socialism.

He will return to oversee his next two big projects – national socialized health care and appointment of an activist pro-liberal justice to the SCOTUS.

To get you to accept, – even cheer – for nationalized health care they will camouflage the real intent in fancy words, and the real cost in smoke and mirrors. And they will attempt to muzzle any and all critics – by intimidation, by passing versions of a “fairness doctrine”. Expect a barrage of media message advertising where the real sponsor is obscured but where your heartstrings are being plucked.

Don’t be fooled, – the ads will be paid for by George Soros and his inner circle of wealthy friends. Jeffery Immelt the CEO of General Electric is another big stakeholder in socialized health care. His nearly bankrupt GE stands to win a never-ending bonanza in federal contracts to administer this National Nightmare. They expect you to believe that despite ZERO background in health care, these tinkerers can create a system better than the Post Office, AMTRAK, the INS, the IRS, NASA, the Federal Reserve, – and speedier and more efficient than the federal court system. Right!

And they want you to believe that a left-leaning lesbian cougar with a record of anti-white bias and a host of overturned decisions is the perfect replacement for David Souter. Hmmm!

OBummer and his puppet-masters know this is a race against time, – against the American people waking up from their stupor, seeing their Messiah is false, and demanding a halt to this madness.

And there are signs of hope everywhere. Just this week the Illinois Legislature [where a young OBummer once used to vote "Present"] voted an overwhelming 74 – 42 to defeat an income tax increase. Take heart, some Americans are already awakening!
