Obama’s Syria Case Weakened By Lies

Posted September 11th, 2013 by Iron Mike

When I watched her report on Fox, I was struck by two (2) things: 1). her poise and seeming depth of knowledge about the various Syrian rebel factions, and   2). she seemed way too young to know that much.Syrian Expert O'Bagy
Too good to be true?  Ms. Elizabeth O’Bagy may have inflated her résumé [sort of like Obama?]; – she doesn’t have a PhD from Georgetown, reports the WSJ.

Her employer, Washington think tank ISW says they’re ‘deeply disappointed’,…but they fired her anyway. O'Bagy with McCain

So McCain, Graham, Lurch, and o’Bummer himself all relied on her expertise – relied that there ARE ‘good Syrians’ over there waiting to work with us. But, if she lied about her credentials,…? ISW Website

But an inflated résumé just doesn’t bother Democrats, – they do it all the time. After all, isn’t the pResident himself a renown expert on Constitutional Law and Economics? And he’s much smarter than Bush?

Isn’t he a seasoned attorney who has tried many cases?   And his lovely wife Michelle too…?  What could possibly go wrong? Missing Person

So when Obama says we can trust him that they’ve ‘got the goods’ on Assad, – and that he has a plan that will work – and not backfire….we can all breathe easier, right?

And Lurch knows all about war.  He’s a war hero who spent 4 months and 12 days in Vietanm!  Surely we can trust his judgment?   Did McCain get all excited traveling overseas with this chick, and buy her bait, hook, line, and sinker?

????????????????

UPDATE: 28 Sep 2013   Hmmm…  Maybe McCain does have a ‘thing’ for Ms. O’Bagy.  He just HIRED her as a legislative aide…  This story may have more chapters.

My husband spent 17 months or so in Vietnam. Longer than Lurch by a long shot. He was in military intelligence, as it happens. What can I say? I married an ex-spook. Just one of many reasons we trust NOTHING that comes out of D.C.

When will they ever learn? In today’s world qualification inflation will usually be discovered. Now not having a PhD doesn’t preclude one from thinking or from being knowledgeable. But what I find more disturbing is that she is affiliated with the Syrian Emergency Task Force, a Syrian rebel advocacy group. So the the WSJ Op-ed on Syria cited by Kerry and McCain was written by someone on Syria’s payroll. Oops.

    Big Oops!

And….we were damn near stampeded into a war by this young lady. Very scary!

REPEAT: But what I find more disturbing is that she is affiliated with the Syrian Emergency Task Force, a Syrian rebel advocacy group. So the the WSJ Op-ed on Syria cited by Kerry and McCain was written by someone on Syria’s payroll. Oops.
