Michelle’s Dark Christmas Message

Posted December 17th, 2010 by Iron Mike

The so-called fashion world is abuzz this morning because First Scowl Michelle OBummer wore a vintage [second-hand] dress to a Christmas event.  Somehow we’re supposed to be impressed that the thing was used [recycling] and that the once-famous designer is dead, yet the 1950s dress still costs $2500.oo.  That’s a mortgage payment right there.

So maybe I’m just seeing things, but what is the real message when someone who attended Reverent Wright’s sermons for twenty years wears a BLACK dress to a Christmas event?  Take a look:

And how many people on her White House staff were involved in tracking down this frock in a NYC vintage dress shop?  Merry Christmas Amerika!

Chime in Ladies, am I being overly picky – or is black the wrong color for Christmas and the Birth of Christ?

   Grrr!

I am not a member of the fashion police, but black just does not blend well with the tree and the elves (All lily white, no diversity at the North Pole?). And how about those earrings?? Are you kidding? Did she take them off the tree and were they right next to that Mao ornament that was so prominently displayed last year?

Since it has been told they don’t exchange gifts at Christmas, maybe Black is appropriate for their family. For the rest of us, it is a Happy & Joyous Holiday.

She wore black because it’s slimming, I guess. You could hide Santa’s sleigh behind her…behind.

It seems like you just don’t like anything black, now do you?
