Kevin de León: Gun-Grabbing Democrat

Posted January 20th, 2014 by Iron Mike

The State Senator for greater Los Angeles has a new campaign – banning ‘ghost guns‘.
Kevin de León
The problem is – he knows nearly nothing about guns in general – and is merely parroting [badly] words he’s heard others use.  It would be embarrassing, – but remember – he’s a Democrat.  They are never embarrassed.

Kevin has two (2) new fears, printed plastic guns and ‘ghost guns[gust guns?]. But his facts are coming from,…well,…it seems he’s pulling them form a dark and smelly place…

Listen as he talks about a gun able to fire “30 bullets in a half second”. [That’s just not true.]

Listen as he confuses clips and magazines – a common blunder of the uninformed anti-gun crowd when they try to look like they’re knowledgeable.

He worries that printed plastic guns could be smuggled aboard airplanes, – and that ‘ghost guns’ are untraceable by the police.
Kevin de León grows a beard

HE DOESN’T RECOGNIZE WHERE BOTH PROBLEMS CAME FROM!

Like the bootleggers and the Mafia crime families in the 1920s – both printed plastic guns and ghost guns sprang up from GOVERNMENT’S attempts to outlaw certain guns, and force citizens to register the ones they already own – as happened 2 weeks ago in Connecticut.

AND, these government crackdowns are the direct result of misguided do-gooders attempting to control human behavior and curtail citizen liberty by passing unworkable and draconian laws.

From the days of our Civil War through World War I,  progressives in the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union attempted to stop the sale and consumption of alcohol.  Their tactics were fear-mongering, exaggerated tales of hungry kids [daddy spent his paycheck at the bar], and buying politicians.

Carrie Nation became famous for storming taverns with a hatchet to smash bottles and kegs.  The 18th Amendment was passed January 1919 – just as WWI was over.

wctu 18th Amendment
Fourteen years later – with the nation in the depths of the Great Depression – and with crime families supplying speakeasys across the land – the folly came to an end with the passage of the 21st Amendment.  But the rise of organized crime families still plagues our Nation, – and their tactics and organizing methods have been copied by the Colombian and Mexican drug smuggling cartels.

So today, as California, Connecticut, and other states attempt to outlaw certain kinds of rifles and pistols [all for the safety of kids you understand], and force honest law-abiding citizens to register the guns they already own, – the natural instincts of free men kick into high gear.

Kevin has forgotten, – or never learned – why we have a 2nd Amendment – and why it is absolute.

And he doesn’t understand the forces of supply and demand.  The government HE is a part of has created a demand for untraceable weapons.  THEY created the FEAR that good citizens now have of gun-grabbers.  Somebody out there WILL find a way to supply them.  Money will change hands.  Risks will be taken – the government be damned!

And government will lose the tax revenue to these underground sales.  So soon government will try to figure out how to shut down the trade – maybe by outlawing money…?   Yeah, that should work….

Americans, you have a God-given right to self-defense – from thugs on the street, from thugs entering your home and workplace, – and from thugs in government!  That RIGHT is recognized and guaranteed in our 2nd Amendment. Ray Gun

Please NOTE:  our 2nd Amendment says nothing about ‘guns’,  assault rifles,  number of bullets,  magazines,  clips, or rates of fire.  NOTHING!

You are allowed to have a DEATH RAY if you feel you need one!

And Senator de León will be right there – trying to restrict the size, shape, range, and capacity of your death ray, – and writing laws about how many you can own and where you MUST store them.

If you bother to listen to the long version of de León’s press conference,  note that he admits part of his ‘gun problem’ is mental patients.  So WHY is he not advocating for more insane asylums and a speedier system to get dangerous people committed to care?   Is it just politically easier to go after ‘guns’?

It no longer matters whether Kevin is an EVIL gun-grabber – or just a stupid onePlease Los Angeles,  vote this idiot out of office before he creates even bigger problems for you.

Kevin de león is undoubtedly a Proud product of the public school system out there. If he had spent, oh, I don’t know, 5 minutes on the web before making that speech, he Might have saved himself a lot of embarrassment. But these dumbocrats always assume they know what they are talking about. “Research? We don’t need no stinking research!”

The picture of law abiding citizens lining up to register their guns in Connecticut, and the photo below “where have we seen this before?” is terrifying.
As Thomas Jefferson said “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government”.
Guns save lives. Every time there is a crisis, politicians learn the wrong lesson and come up with the wrong solution and use the crisis as a reason to take away our freedoms and grow government bigger. History shows that governments always manipulate tragedies to attempt to disarm the people. Guns in the hands of honest law-abiding citizens save lives and property. Gun control laws adversely affect only law abiding citizens.
In the Soviet Union, in Turkey, Germany, China, Ugunda, Cambodia, Guatemala, all established gun control laws, and millions and millions of people were exterminated.
Take note my fellow Americans, before it is too late!
