John Kerry Stirs ’Em Up

Posted February 17th, 2011 by Iron Mike

After losing his bid for President in 2004,  Lurch grew weary of the business of being just 1 of 100 Senators.  [He was still junior to Fat Teddy.] He wanted more – like maybe US Ambassador to France, or better yet, Secretary of State.  A good way to position himself for 2012, or 2016.

Today he is in Pakistan – trying his hand at diplomacy.

He’s trying to secure the release of Raymond Davis,  an American diplomat who is under threat of execution there. Ray shot two armed thugs who were trying to rob him.  Of course the average Pakistani is sure they were innocent.  The crowd can’t wait for a public hanging of an American.  They want to ignore the protocol of diplomatic immunity.

Anybody trying to enforce our treaty protocols right now would have a tough time.  How do you think Kerry is doing?

I don’t think it’s going so good . . .

The religious party Jammat-e-Islami is using this case to stir up anti-US and anti-government feelings.  Pakistan – with 100 nuclear warheads – could be the next Tunisia or the next Egypt.

Was Kerry the best guy to send?  How come Hillary didn’t go herself?  Did she not hear that 3AM phone call?

I think right now the usual technique of giving the two families a million-dollar payday just isn’t going to work.  You think Obama wants to open his mouth right now – to calm the waters?

If you have friends in Pakistan right now, urge them to leave . . .
