Defeat House Bill 4102

Posted July 10th, 2009 by Iron Mike

Hello Americans.  Thanks for clicking in again.

They’re at it again, – those knee-jerk anti-gun fanatics are once again trying to find ways to violate your Constitutional Rights and restrict your rights to own firearms.

There are a few guaranteed hot-debate issues these days.  Obama’s citizenship, immigration, terrorism, socialism, gay marriage, and gun control.  The liberal left have strong opinions on each, and in almost every detail, their views if enacted into law would violate both the letter and the spirit of our Constitution.  That never seems to stop them.

So that quietly ardent socialist, Massachusetts Governor Deval “Deer-in-the-Headights” Patrick, – OBummer’s college buddy – wants to restrict the sale, purchase, and ownership of guns.  Under the guise of “fighting gun crime” – he wants you live defenseless in your home,  and walk through dangerous neighborhoods unarmed.  “Just call 911” says the Gov.  Of course, he has a personal State Police protection detail, – even took them with him on vacation in Jamaica.  But you don’t.  You just have your firearms, – and the 2nd Amendment.

But catering to the knee-jerk anti-gun liberals,  Patrick is trying an end-around the 2nd Amendment.  His bill would put severe limits on the sale of firearms – even between family members.  So while on the surface it ~ looks ~ like a bill to prevent gang-bangers from arming themselves,  – it is part of the ceaseless left-wing attempts to outlaw personal firearms and disarm our population.

Since our last “supertough” gun control act in Mass-a-two-Shits, back in 1998, – gun violence has gone up 243%, and gun homicides are up 79%.  Here gang-bangers are better armed than the cops [who were just denied M16 rifles] – and way better armed than the general population they prey upon.

CONSIDER THIS:   Almost every home and car in America has a flashlight – just in case the power goes out or the car breaks down.  Nobody questions this common sense act of individual preparedness.  Many families even buy small generators, – particularly after their first prolonged experience without electricity.  Nobody is suggesting that they sit in the dark and wait for the power to come back on.  Nobody is suggesting that flashlights be regulated, restricted, or registered.  Common sense, right?  [BTW, flashlights didn’t exist back in 1791].

SO WHY would somebody want to restrict or regulate your ability to defend yourself from goons entering your home?  Because Socialists always know so much more than you do, – and because they want you unarmed and defenseless, and totally subject to their governing whims.  And this was one of the specific reasons why our Founders wanted us armed, – and guaranteed that for us in the Bill of Rights.  They knew from bitter experience that only an armed citizenry could protect itself from hostile armies, marauding thugs, and would-be domestic tyrants.

HB 4102 will be considered and “debated” by a joint committee next Tuesday.  Please call, write, or e-mail these committee members and let them know where you stand.  And mobilize your friends too.

Remember the older you get, the less able you will become to defend yourself from a goon breaking into your home.  Even if you don’t own one now, – there will come a time when you will want a gun by your bedside!

Be polite, but be firm, and demand that Beacon Hill honor our Founder’s wishes and our Constitution!

    First, they take your guns.

    Second, they take your money.

Third, they take your freedom. Put you in jail, and throw away the key.
