Another Monster Mexican Earthquake

Posted September 19th, 2017 by Iron Mike

Another taste of Hell came to Mexico today,   32 miles deep in the earth’s crust under the town of Raboso – 76 miles south of the ancient Aztec capitol.

The 7.1 magnitude quake has killed 50 people so far,  – only God knows how many are buried in the rubble of collapsed buildings.

So we’ll see how fast the rubble gets cleared,  – how fast the dead are buried, – and how soon Mexicans rebuild their shattered buildings – according to the same failed standards that just killed their relatives.

What am I talking about – “failed standards”…?

Look again at that top photo – the decorative turret that fell on the sports car.  Do you see any steel rebar?

In 1985 there was a horrific earthquake under Mexico City which killed THOUSANDS.   You’d ~ think ~ they’d have learned a thing or two in these past 32 years….

But a Socialist country – run by a corrupt elite oligarchy focused on staying in power isn’t going to waste time on Earthquake Engineering or Building Codes.

Frankly the lives of the peasants are expendable,  – and if they don’t like it – they can go north to los Estados Unidos de América,  – where they’ll reliably send back American money.

Mexico’s buildings and their government won’t get better until their people demand it.

Meanwhile,  thank God Trump is our president today!

Obama or Hillary would have already opened the border crossings to “Earthquake Refugees”.  (Never let a crisis go to waste!)

My dad told me about an earthquake in Mexico in the 1950’s when he was in the service, and his unit was deployed to clean up the rubble and dead bodies. Looks to me like building standards are as bad now as they were then.
