What better way could he find to weaken our military, – add to the unemployment rolls, and speed up destruction of our economy!?!?
If only the Republicans had an articulate spokesman…
But Obama has already won this propaganda campaign.
Average low-information voters totally believe the O-Party line that ‘Republicans won’t meet the president halfway’.
How do I know?
I’ve been out collecting signatures for Republican Senate candidate Michael Sullivan. The Democrats I encounter are more bitter toward Republicans now than they were a year ago, and some are scathing in their accusations.
Trying to reason with the brainwashed – or the brain dead – is a waste of time.
From my informal sampling – I estimate that 95% of union, municipal and academic employees fully believe Obama is ‘trying to help the working man’, – and that ‘Republicans want him to fail’.
The ‘proof’ they offer is that ‘all Republicans are old and white – and racist; – that [you] hate seeing a Black man in the White House’. 
No, they’ve never heard of Allen West, – the Boston Globe and the NY Times carried very few stories about him, most without pictures.
So Sequestration works to further ALL or most of Obama’s goals – and quickly:
- It immediately weakens and demoralizes our military, laying off tens of thousands of combat-experienced infantry troops – the cream of our Army and Marines! We may have to mothball one of our modern nuclear aircraft carriers, and stand down fighter and transport squadrons.
- It will ‘furlough’ tens of thousands of federal employees, and cause defense contractors – and their suppliers – to lay off more tens of thousands of workers.
- This will add to a crushing burden to state unemployment rolls – causing Obama’s case for quickly taxing the rich to sound like a plausible fix.
With unemployment checks replacing paychecks, purchasing power will be down. The economy will shrink, as will state coffers. State and municipal bond ratings will drop. The downward spiral will accelerate….
Obama will use all of this as a club to bash and destroy Republicans “…who stubbornly refused to meet him halfway…”.
Meanwhile, Republicans are stuck with inarticulate spokes-gnomes Boehner and McConnnell – who will be unable to explain the skulduggery to the public in any way that makes sense.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
It was Obama’s gimmick from the beginnings – back in 2011. He used Republican gutlessness to trick them into a maneuver – ‘promising to look at debt reduction and budget cuts – in exchange for a pre-election year budget deal’. Dumb-ass Republicans fell for it.
Obama has always hated America’s military power. He feels it made us arrogant – a world bully. He WANTS us weakened – significantly. He does NOT fear China, Russia, or Iran – he sees them as rightful ‘equal partners’.
Obama HATES CAPITALISM! He feels it is a tool used by rich white men to keep peoples of color in perpetual poverty and servitude. He will do anything he can to destroy our economy – and replace it with government-owned government-run industry – i.e. classic socialism.
Obama knows that as President – he has only limited power over State governments. So when Sequestration places a crushing burden of unemployment, reduced tax revenue, and added social costs to state governors, – he will have more leverage.
The ONLY ‘Result‘ Obama cares about is USABLE BLAME!
By October 2014, when the Midterm Congressional Elections are just weeks away, expect a full-scale Psychological Warfare Campaign – waged in the media and on TV and the internet…
– to crucify the few remaining Constitutionalists and stalwart Republicans who are still standing in his way toward dictatorship and a Third Term. (You didn’t really think he was ready to support Hillary in 2016 – did you?)
By October 2014, there will be hundreds of thousands – maybe a million – new people on the unemployment rolls – for well over 18 months. With no jobs in sight – they’ll be eager to vote for any Democrat who promises to ‘extend benefits for another year’.
Obama will be buying votes with EBT cards.

Let’s not go overboard. It’s just a 2% cut in proposed increased spending over a ten year span. If it goes through there will be no massive destructive effect, in fact it will force The Dear leader to make cuts in entitlement spending. If we can’t cut a mere two percent out of a base line budget over a ten year span, then we are doomed.

I hope that you are wrong. If our Republican leaders stand-up and fight to win, the victory will be a giant statement for the entire free world. Republicans have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Republicans should have focused on laying off a certain percentage of non-essential employees. The non-essentials would never have been missed.
Republicans have to stop waiting for the Democrats to fail simply by speaking the truth loud and clear. I’m not sure Republicans want to win this time. Managing the problems we have been given by the tax and spenders. Republicans continue to wander in the wilderness hoping for the best instead of insisting on it. That’s not a winning strategy.

Sure. If just raw numbers were all that we’ll be facing, the Republic will survive just fine – although military morale will suffer, – since our warriors will clearly see themselves as expendable pawns in the political chess game.
BUT, it’s not just the raw numbers….
You have to factor in the emotional effect – particularly on the low-information voters [the young / union members/ academics] who are prone to get their news from Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, and David Letterman.
The minute people believe things are bad, they change spending habits.
When the unemployed believe there are no jobs, – they stop looking.
When older voters believe ‘they’re all the same’ – they stop voting.
And the Obama cartel knows all of this….

The amount they are talking about will only slow down the increase ion spending. Not a true budget cut at all. And don’t forget, the Democrats are the ones that came up with the sea in the first place. Obama himself signed it into being. Now, he’s going around trying to scare the low information voters into panicking, and is also trying to blame the Republicans for HIS idea. Wake-up people.
