Just when we thought he was down for the count from the debate.
Just when it seemed that he was in the depths of despair.
The new job numbers come out and, lo and behold… the rate drops to 7.8%! (Interestingly, not even close to his promised 5.6%) Yes, you heard it right. With nearly nothing new going on in the economy, suddenly the rate drops more than at any time in nearly 60 years. This can be nothing short of a miracle. The anointed one needed it, and his own administration came through by publishing this number.
Does anyone actually believe that this is true? Or that it will hold up to scrutiny?
I don’t. But you can be sure that millions of voters who haven’t made up their minds will glom onto this news as evidence that the Messiah has once again come to the rescue.
I don’t know about you, but I’m praying for the Republic. rr

Give him credit for not dropping it to 5.6% all at once. That might have raised suspicions.
