After every mass-murder here, and sometimes elsewhere, – the gun-grabbing zombies come out of their closets to make anew the case for ‘getting rid of America’s guns’.
It started again, before the smoke had cleared from the theater in Aurora. The usual zombies named you as a villain – along with the ‘Right-Wing’ the TEA Party, the NRA, gunmakers, and the Republican Party. They quickly brand us as a violence-prone nation of uncivilized people. In their minds, your gun makes you uncivilized.
Some are truly well-intended, most are vacuous fools, some are die-hard socialists, and some are power-hungry would-be czars. Most don’t understand History. Only the would-be czars understand that it is your gun keeping them from becoming absolute dictators.
Lifetime left-wingers like Bill Press quickly jump into the spotlight. Bill claimed that the NRA has blood on it’s hands and should be called Murder Incorporated. He wants to round up all ‘assault rifles’ and all hand guns. He thinks you have no need of them. He must live in one of DC’s safe, quiet neighborhoods.
Press is not ‘well-intended’. With him it’s all ego; - at 72 he still wants to be captain of the debating team. Press also hates the words of our Nation Anthem.
Understand your gun-grabbing zombies!
The Truly Well-intend: Many are personal victims of gun violence. Their reactions to guns and shootings is deep, real, and very emotional. They are gun-phobic. The very word ‘gun‘ causes a physical and emotional reaction.
Many live with wounds and scars; – many still mourn loved ones. They are often trotted out by the real gun-grabbers – so that they can tell their particular horror story all over again.
The Fools: These folks simply cannot do simple math. There are well over 270,000,000 guns – of all types – in private hands in the USA. If we cannot [or will not] round up some 12,000,000 illegal immigrants, how on earth would our inept government ever round up 270 million guns? Sadly, these fools haven’t figured out that while THEY might willingly surrender grandpa’s WWII souvenir, crooks, thugs, and gangsters will not.
Nor have these fools done the real-world calculations about their own aging process. They haven’t envisioned themselves in bed at night with a thug coming up the stairs, the phone line cut, and death only minutes away. As Baby Boomers grow old and feeble, they become inviting and lucrative targets. Boomers, RRB encourages you to be armed and ready as you grow old! Dial 911 after you’ve shot the bastard!
The Social Engineers: These folks are very sure they’re the enlightened core of tomorrow’s world leadership. They see all the possibilities of a perfect world – including a world where only the police have guns. [Why would the police need them then?]
They overlook the numerous mass murders which have taken place – and STILL DO – around the world by people who don’t have guns. In Rwanda, some 800,000 people were murdered by hoes and machetes in 100 days. Currently in several African countries Muslims are killing Christians – often by knives, clubs, and fire.
During the Cambodian genocide – fully one third of the population was murdered – some by gunfire, but many more stabbed and clubbed. Ammunition was scarce for the Khmer Rouge.
So the Social Engineers overlook the facts and believe the GUN is the evil villain – not the person using it. These are simpletons, – posturing as intellectuals.
Unfortunately, they speak, write, and vote.
The Would-Be Dictators: You know about Leopold II, Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, Ismail Enver Pasha, Stalin, Mussolini, Franco, Hitler, Tojo, Mao, Castro, Kim-Il Sung, Pol Pot, Idi Amin Dada, Charles Taylor, Foday Sankoh, and Saddam Hussein.
Would you add Hillary Clinton, Barbara Streisand, Cher, and Nancy Pelosi to that list? If they want to take your guns – by taxation, coercion, or brute force, – leaving you disarmed and vulnerable, – they should be on the same list of people who distrust their citizens and want to ensure that government power cannot be opposed.
What they fail to understand [from not reading history] is that the ‘social pioneers’ for all dictators were always swept away as the new government consolidated power.
Adolph Hitler eliminated nearly ALL of the Brown Shirts – the very men who crushed skulls in the streets for him, – paving his way to becoming Chancellor. Dictators are NEVER grateful.
BEWARE ALL who claim they ‘support your right to hunt‘. These people have NO CLUE about the 2nd Amendment, and NO CLUE about your God-given right to self-defense in the face of evil or tyranny. Your right to keep and bear arms has NOTHING to do with hunting.
It has EVERYTHING to do with your right to defend yourself with whatever weapon [sword, long bow, cross bow, musket, M-15, or Ray Gun] – that is current state-of-the-art.
The gun grabber zombies have a new lease on life, a new cause, and new victims to use. They’ll be out in force between now and election day – trying to bully inept and cowardly politicians – and sway poorly educated voters. You must stand up to them!
Oh, and you should note that the folks most urgently demanding that America revisit ‘Gun Control’ – haven’t said a ‘peep‘ about Eric Holder and Fast & Furious. I wonder why? Are Mexican lives worth less to liberals? As long as they have their drug supply…?

Orange hair dye needs to be confiscated to prevent more Aurora type mass killings. It’s obviously a contributing factor. More slippery slope stuff.
I’m shocked and appalled to hear about machetes and hoes killing 800,000 people. I heard Vice President Biden wants to lock up the hoes, so that should take care of half the problem.
In Peru the government gave everyone and their grandmother a free shotgun out in the countryside. That was the end of the Shining Path marching in to villages and chopping off the arms of defenseless peasants merely because they got vacinations.
