Penn State’s Everlasting Shame

Former FBI Director Louis Freeh has issued his report on the Penn State child sex scandal. His 267-pages conclude that Hall of Fame coach Joe Paterno, President Graham Spanier, athletic director Tim Curley and vice president Gary Schultzrepeatedly concealed critical facts relating to Sandusky’s child abuse.”

For decades football and legend were more important than honor, justice or even the lives of kids.  Now there will be ruin and shame. Good. They deserve it. Like another group who concealed terrible sins for decades…

    However, another issue is whether Pennsylvania should be liable to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. This many years later it’s really about money rather than victims.
