Arizona SB 1070 Immigration Law
DECISION: Police officers can still ask about immigration status when they’ve stopped a person for a valid reason – AND have reason to suspect they’re dealing with an illegal.
The Court’s decision guts the other three provisions of Arizona’s SB1070 regarding carrying papers, and working. But the decision language gives the Congress the perfect opportunity to craft Federal Immigration Laws to cover the same areas – nationwide – using the court-approved language.
Romney and congressional candidates should campaign on this! Meanwhile we await the decision on ObamaCare… And, in a vindictive stroke, Obama has just announced that ICE will suspend their 287(g) partnership programs with local law enforcement. He wants those illegal votes!
