So, Mrs RR and I got to CPAC and had a great time this afternoon. Allen West, Newt, and Breitbart. Great lineup. Some notable quotes in a minute but fIrst a few words about OWS.
These ne’er do wells were hanging about in front of the hotel allday long. The police were doing a great job keeping them off hotel property. There were 50 or so looking scruffy and dirty as usual. Carrying signs that had little meaning for the conference. It didn’t seem to bother them, or the conference folks. Most CPACers had a good time trying to engage the OWSers in cogent discussion. T no avail. As usual, these pukes cared little about facts. Just shouting and chanting. The police were professional, bemused, but watchful.
Mrs RR and I saw them confront 2 men who were trying to sneak past them to the hotel. They tried to pass themselves off as attendees… But no none was believing them for a minute. No one attendinig would have been dressed like a street urchin. They were.
Earlier the police advanced on a group of miscreant trespassers and tazed them as they tried to storm the hotel. Brilliant move. The police won.
