This morning Mrs. RR and I were taking our morning walk around the town. As we approached the green from the direction of the toy shop we noticed someone holding a sign near the big flagpole. As we go closer we noticed that it said: “Impeach Barack Obama”!
It was an amazing sight to see in the center of Concord, the cradle of so much that it dear to America. Yes, the same Concord that has turned so liberal in the past 50 years. Mrs. RR and I gave him a big thumbs up and told him to keep up the good work. We heard a couple of people yell things (indistinguishable) from their cars. And there were some friendly toots of horns. I’d presume that they were all in favor of impeachment.
If I didn’t have to work today I might have picked up a sign and stood with him. But, it was a remarkable sight to see him standing there alone. Voicing his opinion. Unafraid of the reaction of his fellow citizens. Or, perhaps, anticipating a groundswell of support. Either way, his voice was seen and heard.
