Forty (40) years in Congress, and now the beginning of the end!

Soon the hyenas will circle his carcass, darting in for a bite here and a bite there. In the end will Charlie trade testimony for jail time? Think some folks are sweating? Kind of a sad ending for a career crook.

Sam Meas (R) - 4010 [with an INCH still to count*]
Niki Tsongas (D) - 3617
Tom Weaver (R) - 3285
Robert Shapiro (R) - 2812
Jon Golnik - (R) - 2339
Robert Clarke (U) - 2156

* At Elections Div they only certify 4000 signatures, i.e. TWICE the required minimum. As Sam's count reached 4000 there was still an INCH of petition sheets remaining!

That's one HELL of a job by an all-volunteer crew, most of whom had NEVER done anything like this before. They do have one thing in common: they want Tsongas OUT and they want Sam IN!

My personal thanks to all my helpers, and all the Town Clerks who combed through those signatures! You were wonderful. Whew! I'm glad that part is over.

Let's Vote Tsongas OUT of Congress!!
