Established to communicate mainstream and conservative Republican thinking. For a brief moment, as Obama swept into office, we felt like we were wandering alone through a socialist desert. But quickly your hits started adding up, and we know that we’re not alone. Part of the blame also lies with the leadership of our own Republican Party – mostly for trying to win votes by running RiNO candidates who masquerade as pseudo-Democrats.

Welcome to RRB Rob, - you’re in far better company today than you were last night!

>> - 27 years, if I remember correctly / which branch
Thirty-seven (37), but hey, what’s a decade? Pretty obvious from my hat – Army!

>> be curious to know if you actually went inside for the discussion?
Nah! In that crowd I was outnumbered 199-1, and I’ve seen Ketchup’s lying act before – he and I go way back. No need to strain my nausea factor – just 6 weeks after my triple.

>> I'm just curious how you can take that stand when you get your health benefits from a government run agency?

Mine is administered through a civilian company so my experiences have been wonderful. My Doc got paid just $2500.oo for three hours of tough surgery, - my total bill was $12.oo co-pay to the Doc – and $33.oo to St. Elsewhere. I showed the bill to Chanel 7, but they didn’t air that piece. You can read about it further back in RRB’s archives.

And remember, per my original contract w/ Uncle Sam – my healthcare was supposed to be FREE for LIFE / me and family. It isn’t – yet another govt. promise broken. I pay quarterly fees and co-pays on almost everything.

But if you want to experience government-run health care – I #ucking DARE you to visit a VA hospital or a USPHS hospital on any Indian reservation.

>> I'm not a huge fan of MoveOn.org either.
That’s a start. If ~ just if ~ ObamaCare passes, where do you THINK Obama is going to get the people to run it? ACORN or MoveOn? Come 2019, going to the doctor will be exactly like going to the post office or the
RMV, - or the SocSec office. Been to a SocSec office lately?

>> I didn't see anyone ask you for directions, nor did I see you offer anyone directions
Groups would stop to read my signs, - some to engage me – and the line would halt. If I were evil or vindictive, I’d have let them cluster all night. – but I’m too good a soldier – even when the mission is simply herding Obama’s sheeple into the slaughterhouse. Most that I spoke with had ZERO idea what Article I, Section 8 is, let alone had ever read it. Obama totally counts on dummies like those.

I thought I would take a moment to stop by the blog as I was at the Town Hall meeting last night and saw you.
First off, two quick items of note.

1. Let's address this statement, "These people were like the Night of the Walking Dead, – they were literally unable to stay in a moving line without direction from me."

I saw you as I was walking to the end of the line and I passed you as the line made it's way to the entrance of the building. I didn't see anyone ask you for directions, nor did I see you offer anyone directions. But I digress.

2. Let's address this statement, "the collection of sheeple and moonbats that MoveOn brought to the event – maybe a thousand in all, – were truly frightening."

Based on my understanding of the capacity of the main room and the two rooms that were used as spill over, there were more than 2,000 people - quite a good turnout in support of some kind of change. To be clear however, I'm not a "sheeple" nor a "moonbat." I'm not a huge fan of MoveOn.org either.

But let's cut to the chase with my question.
You had indicated that you were a veteran of the US armed forces - 27 years, if I remember correctly. I appreciate your service to this country and apologize for not recalling which branch you said you were in.

That being said, you indicated you were against government run healthcare.
I'm just curious how you can take that stand when you get your health benefits from a government run agency?
I'd also be curious to know if you actually went inside for the discussion?
